    Hello from Latvia! Finally very clear to me what to make of all the markings on those gauges thanks to your explanation! Sometimes suction gauge is not just 2in1 but 3! Also having oil pressure indication together with freon pressure and temperatures. Would also appreciate detailed video about oil in AC compressors and oil separator fitted in the line.

    Suction pressure is getting to 2 or 3 bar would be probably when the meat room is not cooled for a long time and the temp is +10 may be. Then in that condition initially the pressure will be 3 bar and latter as cooling goes on after some time it will come down to rated pressure 0.8 to 1 bar.
    Just one possibility I think.

    Sir,as the Ambient temperature and the temp of sea water used as a cooling media in condensor also affect the suction and discharge pressure of the compressor .How the compressor discharge pressure is maintained (regulated) so that the refrigerant in condensor will condensed at varying Ambient condition.

    • @rmetcvideos
      @rmetcvideos  4 года назад +2

      Yes you are right, The sea water temp will definitely affect the discharge pressure. It may affect the temp of freon liquid , but the TEV can control the suction pressure.Discharge pressure cannot be really controlled.It may go up if sea water temp goes up or condenser is choked or there is Air in the system. You need to control it with maintenance.Otherwise it will trip on HP.The fridge is designed to work within the anticipated sea water temp Range ..which a ship will usually come across..Hope it clarifies your doubt

    Sir on my ship on suction side there was a differential pressure gauge which also shows the lube oil pressure ? Can you explain how to read that

    • @rmetcvideos
      @rmetcvideos  3 года назад

      The total pressure or actual Pressure you see in that gauge is a SUM of the Crankcase pressure and actual LO Pressure. THe Difference is the actual LO Pressure.

    • @shivamsrivastava9258
      @shivamsrivastava9258 3 года назад
