- In this 3rd video about tuning my car with the Diablo i3 tuner, I'm going through the list of options and parameters to prepare my Tune.

Throttle booster controller(Pedal Commander) still makes a huge difference than just the tuner settings I have both

So the way that u did it was simply by downloading i2 93 octane , after which u went to the speedlimiter option were asks if you like to disable it? But u still jit 100% sure it wrks bc u never tried to reach 160? Lol
@@HemiMike yea if u can pass 155 nd dont get dead peddal after that!! Then it wrks ,,, bc mines at 155 is the limited speed as i noticed my pedal go limp mode !!! Nd this is after i set speed limiter to 190!!! So go figure !! I have to ask diablo in this to get the right overview on this topic . Ty
@@ChrisSglimbeaelectricfingers no, actually I had my local speed shop that did the gear swap.
I had them do a custom street tune .
Once you do a gear swap the car will go into limp mode.

Did your rev limiter change when you drove it? I ask because I thought I read you had to adjust something else with it to change it.
I cover that topic in the episode 6 and 7 of the diaboisport serie. They had to do it since I was not able to tune it without them...

One question do u have to keep the device plugged in after you tune it?
Like let’s say everything is done with tuning the car can I unplug the device or always keep it plugged in?

I already did the advance modified stock tune I didn't know about the parameters can I go back and make changes to the Modify Stock Tune Parameters

Just to clarify, are we able to use DiabloSport tuner to simply turn off MDS? I know nothing about tunes and do not wish to do anything else but turn off the MDS.

Make sure to check if that fonction is included with the tuner model you are buying on the Diablo website. Some entry level model might not have that function.
Hey can you raize the rev limiter in park/neutral? Or only in drive?

@@HemiMike thank you for the reply. I just bought an intune i3 platinum for my 08 charger rt and installing next week with a hemi fever tune.
I was worried cause i hear people saying that you can in drive but the park/neutral rev limit isnt an option on these for safety reason and only a custom tuner can raise it. Glad that isnt true.
I just received mine do I have to install advance tune first to see the other pages you explaining?
Yes. Make sure to connect it to the internet first and upload the last firmware.

Does the diablo tuner allow me to turn off traction control completely in a 14 RT.
My I3 platinum will disable ESP

Well they might be a couple of older ones that can do it. Go check them up and validate the features on the Diablosport web site.

How do you know the Diablosport Standard tune is 93 Octane? Good video, I'm just a little confused bc my i3 has a 93 tune under the Easy Tune menu, but on the modify para-meters(lol) menu it states exactly what you say: "Standard tune". Makes me think it's an 87 tune. Why would Diablosport not label the octane rating?

Great video question I have a 2007 thoughts charger RT that originally had 18" rims on it I swapped on for the OEM20 inch rims what should I put the gear ratio at

@@paulhyde4899 I dont know about changing the Gear Ratio for a tire size change but your new setup is 29 inch tall
I have a Diablo tuner coming tomorrow for my 300c. To disable mds and change tire size. Do you have to do It as modifying your stock tune before you do a Diablo tune? Or can you do it all at once ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Yes all at once.
Tires setting can be done at any time quickly is not part of a Diablo can tune
I dont have MDS since I have a manual tranmission, not sure on that one.
So you say i2 diablo tune 93 octane wont disable the speed limiter so that the car can reach speeds over the limiter speed of 155? i tried on my i2 diablo nd it appears that all tho i uoed the speed limiter to 190 mph , the car still cuts out at 155! Did u experience the same thing ? As for my auto stick srt8 14 charger will allow me to disable rev limiter to were ever shift rpm i want!! Thats cool feature ! But cant say same for speed limiter !!
I dont know. INever went faster than 135mph.

Is the throttle boost option worth messing with?
Absolutly. Its like having a Pedal commander.

Well, if you have a 2015+ with a sport button I would suggest 10% increase so it will be quicker on initial take off and still manageable in sport mode which will increase it by a other 10% roughly .

How Was The throttle boost at .5 ? Did you go up more?
It did try it more and came back to 1%. More.
Is it safe to do 11.5 on throttle body boost?
I did boost it up this year to 5%. Its a bit more responsive. 11 would make it twitchy I think.
When trying to adjust the speed limiter i don't get a number i get size of tires and axle ratio ....
Well I have both to choose from. Not sure why you dont have it. Same car same i3 Tuner?
So I have the diablotune already installed. Do I have to uninstall and restore back to stock tune to modify stock tune items?
I dont think so. You can modify the Diablotune also

throttle booster on diablo i3 sucks. barely a throttle booster. I'm keeping my ROAR pedal and working around it with my i3.
You need to add a lot of percentage for it to make a difference.
@@HemiMike yes--I ONLY tried the full 20%. Still nothing compared to a dedicated throttle controller. You can still use your throttle controller if you leave 'throttle booster' setting alone...
Do you ha e a 2015+ model year? Do you have the sport mode button in your challenger?
Does this tune make your exhaust louder
If you used 91 octane with the 93 tune it does make it louder but not when using the 93 octane.
Yeah i put my up to 20. Idk if you tried it at that level but i have to say it's way more responsive.
What thats a lot, I do not wish to have a reduce pedal travel. I like to have a progressive acceleration on daily drives. The Sport button boost the standard level up to about 10%. I can only imagine if you use the sport mode now with 20% throotle boost....
@@HemiMike i don't have a sport mode. My car is a 5.7L magnum RT AWD.
Ok that makes sense to boost it up that much with an autostick 5 speed it will make it more peepy of the line.

Yeah! unless you watch this on your TV, you're right it is too small to see, sorry. Next video I will crop and zoom in if this situation comes up again. Thanks for the advise.
