As climate change will lead to more extreme weather events like droughts and floods, Aquaponics can be a good adaptation technique. guys let me warn you.i'm from Nepal and have done lots of research in both aquaponic and hydroponic.trust me aquaponic is good for backyard hobby farming but it is not not profitable commercially.no matter how wonderful it sounds it is not profitable in commercial scale.there are lots of farm in foreign countries which are shut down now because of losses.so anyone trying to invest their precious money in aquaponic should do deep research before investing in it.

Guys aqua ponics is for stupid weathers like in siberia and europe etc where they have ridiculous temperatures and weathers. For Indopak we can clearly use the beautiful weather here and the rich soil. we can grow tons of food. It is occupying so much land and unless you dont grow it directly on top of your pond which i havent seen so far, it is useless for us people of subcontinent.
