Lol!! I remember having to use a knife growing up and how my dad would always say I'm cutting too much of the potato off LOL! Trying to peel a thin layer and not cut into the potato too much honey is a skill! 😂
RE: Peeler vs Knife, I was peeling some sweet potatoes tonight and thinking how easy our lives are with our gadgets compared to our Mother or Grandmother's day! But your potatoes looked easier to chop than mine... 😠🤦🏻♀ Watched a chef on another channel and he suggested browned butter as well. Looks delish!!😋

This is going to be dinner tomorrow night, only I am not going to mash mine. If they taste as good as they look, I will be making them for the family Thanksgiving dinner. I will be using Kerrygold butter & pure maple syrup. I think I will use evaporated milk because I have a can opened. Thank you for your recipe. You seem very sweet. Probably because of all the sweet potatoes you've eaten in your life!😁
Not sure if this applies to anyone else but the first time i made mashed sweet potatoes I used a hand mixer to which it does make it lumpy (😢unfortunately) but it does wind up the stringy hair like fibers in sweet potatoes
I have gone to the recipe page but there are no quantities for any of the ingredients! I cant tell if those are tablespoons or 1/4 cups in the video 😢 I really want to make this for Thanksgiving so bad!

Yes it can. Your potatoes might be a little mushy though since they would have to sit directly in the water. You still have to add the liquid.
