Bishop Robert Barren. You are able to combine your intelligence with basic common sense when you are speaking on theological issues. That's why you're an effective preacher
Amen✝️ln 2023 l read Keezano’s Your Life Your Game, and it was like a miracle in my life. It taught me how to connect with God on a deeper level, and since then, my prayers have been answered in ways I never imagined. This book is a true blessing for anyone searching for spiritual and personal breakthrough, God bless❤
This discussion truly dives into the heart of prayer and its profound mystery. 🙏 I love how Bishop Barron explains the balance between God’s omniscience and our active participation in prayer as an alignment with His will. The analogy of a parent and child really hit home-God knows what we need, but He still delights in our reaching out to Him. Who else found this conversation both inspiring and thought-provoking? Let’s talk about it! ✨✝
My thoughts immediately went to Hezekiah's extra 15 years, unintended consequences, the possibility of humans influencing history through prayer, free will/determinism, and branching paths of possible outcomes that align with God's will. If both paths are within God's will, what does it mean if God (allows?) A (worse?) chain of events to actualize based upon a selfish prayer? Or are both paths equally fine because God ultimately turns everything toward The Good in the end anyway, and so hezekiah's prayer was aligned with God's will because there was no better or worse path?
Your statement contradicts itself. If something is meditative and let’s say a whole city participates in daily prayer of some kind and then they feel better - wouldn’t that be externally quantifiable?
So God wants to give us a grace so he not only inspires the desire for it but then prompts you to pray for it. Ok so far make sense then you lose me when you say we are asking for the wrong thing. How can you ask for the wrong thing if its God inspiring and prompting you to ask for that "wrong thing" and to me that part doesn't make any sense. The only logical conclusion from that is that he is deceiving us by promoting us to pray for things he has no plans to give but scripture assures us he cannot deceive or be deceived. So Father Barron if you are reading this could you please explain to me the answer to this apparent contradiction is?
It's amazing how bishop B can tell you what a god wants! This is a perfect example of talking about what you cannot possibly know as if you do. Sad really.
Bishop, Maraming salamat po sa inyong tyaga sa pagtuturo ng Roman Catholic Church faith. Pagpalain po kayo! Mabuhay! Mula dito sa Pilipinas!😊
Amen, thanks be to God

God does exist for those that doubt. Just sharing what I believe.

Hm yes, very wise
🙏🙏🙏
Is talking to God considered praying?
Absolutely
Prayer does absolutely nothing externally quantifiable but it is meditative and can make you feel better.

It's just ridiculous how Barron speaks as if his god really exists, he has no idea if god/gods exist just like everyone else

Oh God is very real. And you should be thankful. If there is no God, there would be no us. God loves you too.
Then why are you listening to me?!
Sounds like somebody needs deliverance prayers
Jesus Christ never taught to pray the Rosary.
Is the Rosary prayer found in the bible?
Try to pray you will love it
@ken8334 yes.
@@ken8334 Read the Bible. Jesus Christ didn't teach to pray the Rosary.
@@supermankryptonite99 it's not about loving the prayer. It's about how Jesus Christ taught to pray.
