This looks wonderful! I would love to invite a guest speaker from Strasbourg or someone who has visited the city to share their experiences and enlighten my Grade 3 and 4 learners about its rich culture and festivities. Any volunteers please? Your insights would truly inspire them! Love from India!
best food I had in France was at the mall in Strausburg, the center commercial rivetoile, Jeff de Bruges. I had a chicken spatzel soup thingy that was literally the best tasting thing I've had in France.
Hi! What an awesome tip! If we make it back to Strasbourg (which we definitely hope to one day) we will have to check it out. Sounds amazing! Thank you for watching. 😁
@@HeGoesSheGoes We had an amazing time, wandered around this beautiful city, ate, and traveled on the excellent public transportation, which got us to and from the train station to our hotel!
Hi, thanks for watching! It's been a few years since our trip, but we believe we took the high speed train (SNCF) from Paris to Strasbourg. Took under 2 hours and was very comfortable. Hope that helps!
I still remember watching the Hunchback of Notre Dame, that Cathedrale is beautiful. That Astronomical clock is incredible! The view is amazing, I would love to visit this town. Nice stop at the Cafe Brant! Awhh I love the cocktail!!
Thanks so much you guys! Strasbourg completely blew us away. It was such a lovely town with great people and food. And the cathedral was so gorgeous we had to see it every day. We definitely recommend a visit! 😁
Hello lovely He & She Goes :), In a couple of weeks I'll be visiting Strasbourg. I'm gonna follow your advice and I'm gonna visit the Jeannette and the Cycleux club. It looks pretty awesome on your clip. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us :)
Hi Conrad! So exciting that you’re headed to Strasbourg. We really enjoyed our time there. Especially the cocktails at Jeannette and the Cycleux. Have an awesome time. And thank you so much for watching!! 😁
Ok. English speaker have a hard time to pronounce berg. And burg. Berg means mountain. And burg means castle...so berg gets to be borg and burg almost the same...ch is also difficult. It's always. Ick...like in sprecken...gute nackt...etc. hard to speak the very soft ch...sprechen....
Great job, guys! All of that in 1 day! Wow! I was fortunate to spend a week there (pre-pandemic) so I know how well you covered this city! I didn't even get to climb the 300+ steps in the Cathedral.
You know it!! I love my coffee so much. Makes me super happy. And the coffees here were fantastic! What’s Helmi’s favourite type of coffee? We love cappuccinos!
Very informative video! France has a lot more to see. We stayed in Strasbourg only one night. We didn't see many places like you did. Thanks for sharing!!😀
Hi Shawn and Mai! We loved Strasbourg so much. We’re you able to visit the Cathedral? We definitely hope to return some day. It is such a lovely city to wander. Thanks so much for checking us out! 😁
@@HeGoesSheGoes yes,we visited the Cathedral. It is very beautiful. Unfortunately,it was raining the day we're there. We really want to go there again during the holiday seasons.☺️
Hi Drea! Thank you for watching! We’re so glad you enjoyed the video! We didn’t purchase a Strasbourg pass during our trip but they seem like a great deal! A good place to start for info might be the Visit Strasbourg tourist site. It includes info on a Strasbourg City Card. Their website is: www.visitstrasbourg.fr/en/welcome-in-strasbourg/ We we’re also able to find some info for an Alsace pass here: www.civitatis.com/en/strasbourg/pass-alsace/ There are also some really informative blog posts you can find online with people sharing their experiences and providing some links. Hope this helps! Thank you again! 😁
Thanks Julianna! The cathedral really is incredible, definitely worth checking out. We were there in October and thought it was a great time to visit. There weren't as many people and the weather made for really good walking - though a little wet at times. The colours around town were also very lovely. Our trip was three days long which we felt was pretty close to perfect. One day might feel a little short as there are quite a few things to do and places to eat - and its worth it to see the cathedral more than once for sure. :) Let us know if you have any more questions! Happy to help.
You should visit some villages near starbourg, villages aren't pretty, but have alot of history. Edit : for example my village has a catholic church built in the 1300's hundrends.
Oh wow!! That sounds incredible! Yes, we would love to get back to that area and explore some of the villages. We will absolutely keep this in mind for the future. Thanks for watching!
