Illness & Injury at York parkrun

  • Welcome to my York parkrun video where we catch up from last week’s run from Walsall Arboretum. We were hoping that our visit today could have produced some fast times for both Rory and I but carrying injuries and illnesses it wasn’t to be the run we’d hoped for. I should have held back on pace today, I told Rory to hold back and neither of us did. Hopefully we didn’t do too much damage as what we had planned for the following week would need our bodies back to being fighting fit.
    Thanks so much for watching 😊

    Glad to see you both enjoyed your visit to York. We did the first ever event there when such things were encouraged. It's fast on paper although quite congested at the start. Good luck with the 40!

    • @racheld1844
      @racheld1844  3 месяца назад +1

      We’d seen a few videos where the start looked tight, but they were filmed over the wetter months and puddles kept the spread quite narrow. It wasn’t too bad for us as with the grass being dry, we had room to take in a wider start. It’s the same at Arrow Valley. Once the verges are dry it’s so much easier for everyone to get a better start 🙂
