This lore solves the problem of the Pony in the episode with the love poison. It was an alicor n that previously ruled Equestria. The pony got corrupted by the poison and the Two sisters needed to take over.

I went a completely different direction with Skyros (I definitely have commented similar things twice already under your videos), but considering the last time was more about the rise and fall of Opaline and not Skyros itself, I might as well explain the rise and fall of the Skyrosian Empire and the history of the City of Skyros: (The Tambelonian Era) The Unity Crystals are much, _much_ older than anyone realized. They were instrumental to Gusty the Great's defeat of Grogar. She created them by crystalizing magic from each of the tribes, starting with her own. While she was on her way to Cloudsdale to obtain pegasus magic, Grogar stopped her in her tracks. Grogar had himself three very powerful monsters, each one dedicated to land, sea, and sky. Let's call them Behemoth, Leviathan, and Ziz. He also had an ultimate weapon, called a Draconequus, which he had _two_ of Gusty, her band of unicorn warriors, and their earth pony guides did their best to fight them, but were outmatched. But they did cause enough of a commotion for the pegasi of Cloudsdale to send down their own warriors to assist Now with access to pegasus magic, Gusty finished her project. She, the pegasus commander, and one of the earth pony guides joined the three crystals together, turning all three of them and their followers into alicorns. Each alicorn was able to match a draconequus, and a team of alicorns could take down one of Grogar's three great monsters. However, the draconequi betrayed Grogar and helped the alicorns defeat him. But then something happens that tells Opaline that Celestia is no longer the ruler of Equestria, so she attacks, first draining the fire magic from both Ember and Prince Abraxas During an unrelated adventure, Twilight found the remnants of Skyros as well as the Unity Crystals, being the first pony since the Fall of Skyros to ever know about them. She found Gusty's notes on how they worked and pocketed both the notes and the Crystals for herself. She found out that the Tree of Harmony was an evolved form of the magic in the Crystals, so she assumed the Crystals to be obsolete. However, Opaline managed to separate one member from each group of Elements. For these purposes, those were Rainbow Dash (goaded into attacking Opaline directly and thrown into Limbo), Flash Magnus (tried to save Rainbow Dash), Ocellus (infiltrated Opaline's army solo and was found out), Crystal (took an imprisonment spell meant for Zecora), Chummer (same but for Capper), Jennino Lanternlight (knocked unconscious), and King Thaumas (sacrificed himself to protect his family). I just remember what Celestia said when Flurry Heart was born "The birth of an alicorn is something equestria has never seen". With Luna following with "It is beyond even OUR understanding" So if Luna AND Celestria were both born as alicorns, neither of those comments would have made sense. At least in G4... Though considering all the changes they did to the lore in G5... The lore is too separate for that to make sense. As much sense as dragons looking more pony like, including spike... And having cutie marks.
Luna could’ve meant that she doesn’t understand how an alicorn is born from an ascended alicorn (Cadance, who was formerly a Pegasus) and a non-alicorn (Shining Armor).

I think Sunny would've been born an alicorn like Flurry Heart if magic didn't disappear let me explain. I'm 1,000% sure that Sunny isn't 100 percent earth pony blood because of...her mom. A common theory about Sunny's mom is that she's secretly an alicorn(because Sunny as baby has a rainbow streak and so did her mom but the pictures with Sunny as a baby and Sunny with her dad are missing one thing Sunny's streak,Sunny was born with a rainbow streak since all light alicorns have one but when Sunny's mom disappeared so did Sunny's streak but when magic returned Sunny got her rainbow streak again)but she looks like an earth pony because magic disappeared therefore Sunny's mom had no magic. Sunny's mom had a little bit of unicorn and pegasu dna but since she had more earth pony genes that's why she was born as an pegasus or unicorn. Sunny's mom is descended from Twilight Sparkle herself because the "Starscout Crest" is what they call Twilight's cutie mark but Sunny's last name is Starscout and Argyle's last name is Starshine meaning Sunny's mom's last name must of been Starscout which means one of Twilight's children or grandchildren changed their last name to Starscout marrying an earth pony. So if magic cane back than Sunny's mom would be born as an alicorn(no matter how little alicorn dna she had) but the less alicorn dna you have you become a "faulty alicorn". Sunny's mom was also descendant from a very rare alicorn type called Light alicorns their wings and horn is made of pure magic but they are natural alicorns and their light form is permanent which makes Sunny a "faulty" light alicorn. There's a difference between a "faulty" alicorn and a "faulty" light alicorn(it's call faulty because alicorns like these broke all the rules to how alicorns should've existed). Unfortunately Sunny is both an "faulty" alicorn and light alicorn which is why Sunny has complicated powers and has wonky powers. The only way to fix faulty alicorns is by a natural alicorn and half natural light alicorn. Easier said than done because light alicorns are the rarest type of alicorns. Without training Sunny will be the least powerful alicorn because without training she hasn't reach her full potential power. The only way for Sunny to get to Skyros is for her to make her friends alicorns(which she can't do yet because of your theory and my theory of her not reaching full potential) so the Reine alicorn is face palming so bad of Sunny's powers and how she's unexperienced so they will soon send a alicorn who's a guide,guardian and teacher who is an full blooded natural light alicorn hybrid who will be Sunny's mentor as for Sunny's mom she's dead because in the stars it showed her face in Written in the Starscouts.(similar to when Mufasa was talking to Simba) she tried to bring back magic because if she could her daughter would not suffer from bullying like she did but there was a Prophecy that Sunny would be the one to save magic not her mom but the tapery was ripped in three pieces which showed Hitch Sunny's mom knew Hitch's grandmother and was great friends with her so she and Argyle thought that she was meant to save magic(the prophecy pointed to two possible ponies that could say the day but the answer was Sunny)she died she went up to Skyros and every Alicorn was face-palming like you idiot you were supposed to guide Sunny, not save magic. Doubtful. Hasbro made it pretty clear in their leaks that G5 is dead and done for them. Which is a shame, it had a lot of potential despite my own criticisms for it.
That was a big reason why it was terrible. They tried to continue g4 by making g5 a sequel when they largely didn't have the rights to it, forcing them to make halfhearted connections to the last show. Plus, most fans never really wanted more G4. The bulk of the fandom felt like FIM had run its course and got tired of it; we wanted something new, but that didn't happen.

So if Luna AND Celestria were both born as alicorns, neither of those comments would have made sense.

Luna could’ve meant that she doesn’t understand how an alicorn is born from an ascended alicorn (Cadance, who was formerly a Pegasus) and a non-alicorn (Shining Armor).

I agree but only on skyros and the royal sisters, as twilight and cadence are like primes, champions chosen by alicorns to be alicorns, but I strongly disagree about opaline, pretty sure it would make sense if opaline went to equestria in the past before all this then turned against skyros and became the pony version of lucifer given how evil she is and how as the misty clears through hitch coins the phrase, anti-sparkle, thats what opaline is, which means looking back on G4 in seasons 4,5,6,7,the movie, 8, all the to season 9.
ponies and creatures had a bit of opaline's influence meaning if we didn't have map episodes equestria might've been corrupt and season 9 ending of the end actually showed us how corrupt equestria could've been and G5 both MYM,TYT, and the comics showed us how evil opaline's influence corrupted every pony and possibly every creature, meaning opaline is the closest MLP will get to having a kid friendly way showing sin in a pastel world of colorful ponies who use friendship, love and unity to stop any villain

I think Sunny would've been born an alicorn like Flurry Heart if magic didn't disappear let me explain. I'm 1,000% sure that Sunny isn't 100 percent earth pony blood because of...her mom. A common theory about Sunny's mom is that she's secretly an alicorn(because Sunny as baby has a rainbow streak and so did her mom but the pictures with Sunny as a baby and Sunny with her dad are missing one thing Sunny's streak,Sunny was born with a rainbow streak since all light alicorns have one but when Sunny's mom disappeared so did Sunny's streak but when magic returned Sunny got her rainbow streak again)but she looks like an earth pony because magic disappeared therefore Sunny's mom had no magic. Sunny's mom had a little bit of unicorn and pegasu dna but since she had more earth pony genes that's why she was born as an pegasus or unicorn. Sunny's mom is descended from Twilight Sparkle herself because the "Starscout Crest" is what they call Twilight's cutie mark but Sunny's last name is Starscout and Argyle's last name is Starshine meaning Sunny's mom's last name must of been Starscout which means one of Twilight's children or grandchildren changed their last name to Starscout marrying an earth pony. So if magic cane back than Sunny's mom would be born as an alicorn(no matter how little alicorn dna she had) but the less alicorn dna you have you become a "faulty alicorn". Sunny's mom was also descendant from a very rare alicorn type called Light alicorns their wings and horn is made of pure magic but they are natural alicorns and their light form is permanent which makes Sunny a "faulty" light alicorn. There's a difference between a "faulty" alicorn and a "faulty" light alicorn(it's call faulty because alicorns like these broke all the rules to how alicorns should've existed). Unfortunately Sunny is both an "faulty" alicorn and light alicorn which is why Sunny has complicated powers and has wonky powers. The only way to fix faulty alicorns is by a natural alicorn and half natural light alicorn. Easier said than done because light alicorns are the rarest type of alicorns. Without training Sunny will be the least powerful alicorn because without training she hasn't reach her full potential power. The only way for Sunny to get to Skyros is for her to make her friends alicorns(which she can't do yet because of your theory and my theory of her not reaching full potential) so the Reine alicorn is face palming so bad of Sunny's powers and how she's unexperienced so they will soon send a alicorn who's a guide,guardian and teacher who is an full blooded natural light alicorn hybrid who will be Sunny's mentor as for Sunny's mom she's dead because in the stars it showed her face in Written in the Starscouts.(similar to when Mufasa was talking to Simba) she tried to bring back magic because if she could her daughter would not suffer from bullying like she did but there was a Prophecy that Sunny would be the one to save magic not her mom but the tapery was ripped in three pieces which showed Hitch Sunny's mom knew Hitch's grandmother and was great friends with her so she and Argyle thought that she was meant to save magic(the prophecy pointed to two possible ponies that could say the day but the answer was Sunny)she died she went up to Skyros and every Alicorn was face-palming like you idiot you were supposed to guide Sunny, not save magic. Unfortunate many ponies who believed in unity tried to bring back magic but only one was supposed to do it. So there Sunny's mom is in Skyros and she's dead(supposedly if we go by your theory)

ngl, i kinda want other opinions on this, i feel like Izzy deserved to be an alicorn more than sunny? like to me sunny just ran around rule breaking and never really tried to meet any other tribes but Izzy did, what hitch said really just is how i feel, why dosent she go out and prove they can be friendsand tbh if izzy hadnt shown up i dont think she would have. and when the others wanted to keep on trying sunny just gave up, i really feel like she only became an alicorn for the toys and to get a new alicorn into the show and i wish there had been more of someone really earning it like twilight

That was a big reason why it was terrible. They tried to continue g4 by making g5 a sequel when they largely didn't have the rights to it, forcing them to make halfhearted connections to the last show. Plus, most fans never really wanted more G4. The bulk of the fandom felt like FIM had run its course and got tired of it; we wanted something new, but that didn't happen.
Look anyone will admit that g4 was better but if g5 wasn't canceled we might have had cannon batponys
