Real Men Real Style You should do a video on western and cowboy wear. Please and thank you
So... do you want to reveal to us a couple of the subjects in videos coming out during the next weeks/month? :)
I've talked about cowboy boots here: www.realmenrealstyle.com/western-boots-information/
I really wish I found your channel prior to retiring out the Army. No disrespect to TAPS but your information is more thorough and I can rewind and I can feel better going in interviews. In hindsight, my suits are too large and I wore the wrong color tie. The wrong shoes (black brogues) and wrong time piece (dive watch). Embarrassing.
@@jwjoness I'll top that effort one day. I have a pair of dark green Oxford brogues with patent leather wing-tips. I promise I will wear them to my next interview.
This channel is perfect for self improvement.
You rock - thank you!
Thats where im at right now and the difference is night and day. You can easily brush it off and say no i don't need to dress up but it definitely does make a difference. People take you seriously and when you feel that energy it just makes you want to do IT better and better!
I agree….Love this channel
I have to say, "Thank you" for this video. I watched this video the day it came out. I had a job interview a few days later. I am so glad I listened to you. I wore a tie, and all the other gentlemen did not. Every manager I interviewed with wore a tie. I already had a great fit, a white shirt, a solid navy suit, and shined my shoes. Today, I got the news...I GOT THE JOB. Thank you! Thank you!
Jason Miller so glad you got the job brother! Keep up the good work and remember that the easy part is behind you now. The hardest is to prove the company that they made the good choice
Congratulations
Congrats! Hope you're successful in your profession!
That’s nice
Perfect! I love that the talking is accompanied by actual samples and not just pictures.
Glad you liked it!
I remember when my father had an architectural firm and part of architecture is designed the building in the office and then going out during the construction to check on the construction. My father had a number of draftsman and you are always choose a couple of them as a reward to go out to the jobsite with him. Some of them got chosen all the time and son of them never got chosen. The ones who never got chosen sometimes complain and if they were good employees he would tell them frankly it’s the way you dress. If you would just wear a Sports jacket and have a tie in the office that you could put on I take you to meetings occasionally and to job site inspections. My father on the other hand would always wear suits with the kind of shoes that you highly recommend it. Listening to this video remind me a lot of my father and the way he treated his staff. One of the best complements he would ever give me even as a junior high school student he would have me dressed properly carry a clipboard and introduce me as one of the staff members. Frankly when I was in junior high school I could pass as a graduate student. Half of it is just the way you dress just as you said. My father would where grubby clothes when he was working doing physical labor on one of the properties he owned and rent it out but if he had to go to the hardware store she will go home and dress not in a suit of course but a nice trousers and a nice shirt and sweater and I would ask him dad why are you getting dressed to go to the hardware store and he would tell me you never know who you’re going to meet there. He was always looking for new clients and you always try to dress the part of a successful architect even though architecture in the 70s and 80s was a tremendous struggle in Washington DC.
I really love the contents of this video, definitely a strong message to progress at work.
That's right!
I have an interview scheduled for today. What a coincidence! I don't have a huge wardrobe. So, it's hard for me to make big changes at this point, but I'm glad I watched. You always create content. Thank you!
How did it go?
Started following your channel before I entered college, now I began my first job and I'm often the best dressed man in the room thanks to your valuable knowledge and tips! Thanks Antonio!
Peak lapel thats a first for you !!!
The more I watch your videos, the more I learn and the more impressed I become. Thanks Antonio!!!
Gotta say antonio, the peak lapel really lifts your look
RMRS I watch most of your videos, I like hearing your take on some things.
One bit of advice as you are reworking some things is you might want to increase the audio levels on your videos in post.
Good presentations, and the visual aids improve your clarity. You have an effectively packaged product and good lead in with the videos to your other services.
Thanks for your input Robert.
Magnifique la grande Classe totale Merci
Yea I dont have any dress shoes cause I wear a size 14 EE and most places around us don't carry that size, so I have really 1 pair of dress boots but can clean up my work boots to look very nice
lol I actually thought that the grey sports jacket is the most formal!
I love herringbone
Hahaha! Just finished an interview and then this. Timely, man. Thanks for that.
I'm glad you didn't just advise people to dress "up" and wear business professional outfits regardless of the job they're aiming for.
I feel like most of the companies that younger people want to work for have cultures that don't value "professional" attire. This is especially true of tech companies.
My mother just said that to me. Dress for the job you want 0:18
You had me at three roll two! On point here
Professor Antonio is back in full swing. Good stuff, sir.
Just in time! I have an interview Friday. I’m nervous. Wish me luck guys!
Good luck Bobby!
You running the company by now?
I enjoy 3 piece suits. Any ideas on how and when to wear that?
Also I'm sure there would be a different impact by wearing English or American or Italian suits? (another video perhaps)
Thanks
+Real Men Real Style I think you should make a video on jobs/ proffesion that requires you to dress well because in this video you talk about career advice and I mean some people might want to do the job that requires dressing up like I do.
Loved the video Antonio. On a side note, wear that jacket more, it's amazing. It looks really good on you!
I'll keep that in mind!
You saved my day. Thanks Sir.
Great solid advice as always.
IT'S SIMPLE,BUT CLASSIC.
Superior tips for success, thank you
This is exactly what I needed to hear. Excellent information.
A black suit may not be good for an interview, it could seem intimidating.
Awesome content... Always learn a lot from you Antonio...
But its too long... could have made three videos out of this...
Love u Antonio....
So many great tips! Thank you so much :)
Like the longer format. Thanks for the info. I heard its a good idea to match your clothes colours such as tie or shirt to the brand colours of the company?
Antonio, great video! Do you think you could talk more about the jackets? Fabric, producer, etc.? Thanks!
Producer?
Real Men Real Style Who actually made the jacket, what company?
Man I love your content.
I love your channel
RUclips must introduce a 10k likes button. You definitely worth more than that.
Awesome video content. Thanks. Love your presentation
This channel can improve ones quality of life
Hey Antonio! Finally i saw you in peak lapel :) It looks so much better than notch in my opinion
Antonio, can you please do another video on picking the right sunglasses. Even with your great info graphic on face shapes i'm finding it hard to determine which one I am; not to mention Brock from the modest man made a great video on picking shades without knowing your face shape, which actually made a lot of sense and makes it way easier to pick shades. What's your thoughts on this, do you agree that face shapes are an outdated method. Also are square shaped "aviators" actually aviators in your info graphic, or are they square/rectangle frames. Cheers!
I thought I filmed it already? www.realmenrealstyle.com/buy-prescription-glasses/
thankyou antonio! but im the guy who really loves peaked lapels , is that applicable in every situation?
thank u RMRS. I got to know how to wear for my next job interview.
Sounds like a plan - good luck to your job interview.

I love this guys stuff
Hey Antonio you look awesome in that peak lapel jacket.
The casual boot that you just showed.I have a half boot that the sole has run down a bit and would Like to repair it,but have not managed to find the right sole for it.The sole underneath is as exactly as you boot, where can I get that sole?
Love those oxbloods with the broguing
White pant Navy blue dotted shirt and a redtant jacket is it a good combination for party
Great video Antonio. You look good in that suit too.
Thank you sir!
love you peak lapel jacket
Which one is the best for interviews, Charcoal gray or Medium gray?
I wish Margolis menswear in Jacksonville could see this. The current owner tried to get me to buy a black suit and refused to sell a medium grey suit. Antonio spot on as usual.
What? Why?
Real Men Real Style I find traditional men clothiers do not understand men's fittings and styles have changed. The owner took over for her father, and has been stuck in antiquated ideas about men's style. That being said clothiers in Wilmington understand that men's fittings and style has changed and cater to the new conservative man.
How do you dress in a virtual meetings world?
Every video you make is this very video! #truth
If you're a suit guy, and you go to an interview and realize it's not a job that allows you to wear a suit, don't accept the job. Why do you want to be unhappy for 8 hours a day, every single day of your life?
what do you think of black shirts
Love the new background!
Thank you!
Plain derby's/ blucher's are far more appropriate for an interview than a 2 tone Oxford.
I don't got promotion 😔 now I am going to suits up 😀
What brand of sports jacket is at 16:48 and where can I get it? It looks awesome!
Great tips
I love your videos!!
What about Vests and/or Vest+Suit Combinations?
Here's my take on it: www.realmenrealstyle.com/wearing-three-piece-suit-men-style-tips/
You should make a video about University interviews.
do you think brown gucci horsebit loafers are appropriate or no?
Sorry I'm sure someone has asked. Where is that coat from the thumbnail from?
Too 10 places you shop for cloths watches etc please
Texas formal for an interview????
My company wanted me to dress a blazer but I am working as a salesman and I am constantly receiving no's... It does not feel comfortable
Is wearing tie is compulsory bcz im giving interview in summer.
Im looking for internship in civil engineering field, employers wear casual shirt or sometime polo. Should i wear 3 piece set suit and tie and shiny leather shoes for their interview?
I am a mechanical engineering student and I wore a white dress and a navy pant and belt for my interview
I'm lovin' the peaked lapels you're rocking.
Thank you!
Notification Squad :D
Thanks for being here!
Nice :) I am prepared.
Awesome! Which outfit is your favorite?
What about ascots
Superbe
How much did it bug you when you see your hair standing up in the back while editing?
Antonio, I'm a senior in high school and I want to go to audio school and be an audio engineer. What level of formality would a job that be categorized as?
RJtheGoob semi formal
Antonio, could a man wear monkstrap or loafer shoe to an interview or do they have to wear oxfords?
Oxfords are your best option. It depends on the office environment too.
What about Cowboy Boots…..?
Can i wear texido in interview
That blue suede doesnt work at all with the rest of the shoe
Is it wise to outdress your boss??
I NEED PROMOTION.
I wish I had an interview. All I get are rejections. Someday...
Sending positive thoughts your way. Don't give up!
Real Men Real Style Thank you, sir. I won't!
Let us have a partnership deal
Hii
Hey Raiyan!
🍉
Need a pocket on your dress shirt to hold your Lucky Strikes
What kind of company promotes you for how you dress instead of how your performance is? There's a lot of old school business info here that applies to dying corproate environments.
Can you read minds?
tomorow i have an interview
First!
Are you sure? :)
Real Men Real Style first to comment! I believe there where 23 people watching. Good video btw!
They don't have vegan shoes?
Too long,didnt watch
You can also check the article: www.realmenrealstyle.com/dressing-career-success/
Actually watched it today, great content Antonio!
Is it possible that you are making videos too frequently? Anyone agrees?
Oswald Gorden The idea is that to rank high on RUclips you need to post daily. I find that people who do that start posting poor quality.
Sorry, but jeans (denim in ANY color) are never acceptable in a business environment. Even for "casual Fridays". They are for mowing the lawn and working in the garage, not for going out in public.
CatatonicBug depends on your environement, how others dress and where you live
CatatonicBug, what if your business involves field work or your business is blue collar.
That's not a business environment then. Its more of a shop or "field work". If you get dirty enough during the day, doing your normal work to need to wash your hands, its not a business environment.
At my company most people wear casual or smart casual. It is widly accepted and even business casual is only used by 1-2 or the senior staff members. I would call that an business environment. Of course when people got meetings with their customers the dresscode goes up to business casual or even business formal.
MSTheChosenOne you just said the people in your company wear casual or business casual. That right there means it is NOT a business environment. Business casual is NOT business dress. They are altogether different. Just because business work is completed there does not make it a business (dress) environment.
My dear Antonio,
please check your tie knot, that doesn't fit to a styling coach...
I sorry, but a gray sport jacket and khaki or tan slacks don't go together.
