When I heard beyond light was announced I was super hyped. Then I realized for the next six months the entire community would just be preparing like its some kind of damn downton abby episode.
Another cool thing to note regarding the Arrivals season pass: Like exotics do NOT turn in the armor this season. The armor drops on level. This means if you're preping for a Day One raid run, you should hold onto it and use the armor to give a power boost to whatever armor slot that may be significantly underleveled or just might barely get you to another power level.
This is a great tip... I always hold onto the high stat armor until the end of the season (b/c my vault is jammed) but i grab it before the new dlc bc of the great stat rolls... I'll definitely test this out next season since the holdfast armor stats are exactly the same as last season's 7th seraph sets
@@michaelmaddy5232 Can't speak for the future but based on my experience this season, it works. It's what helped me get pretty close to atleast 10 power under the 1030 recommended power. It helped me get a Prophecy day one. Hopefully, it works going into next season.

pro tip on exotic engrams: run around with your engram slots full, that way any engram you get at the end of an activity will automatically go to the post master. (unfortunately you also need to more closely manage your post master inventory since all purples will go there as well)
@@LakerTriangle I haven't lost a single thing at the PM and I've been doing it for 2 weeks. It definitely is more tedious, don't get me wrong, but if you can't dedicate loads of time to prep then you shouldn't have an issue.
@@leman2514 how long you do it (days) isn't the issue - how long you play (hrs) could be. I have 4 exotics, 50 prisms, and 2 shards in PO....I'm constantly on DIM making sure to xfer stuff over. It can fill very fast depending on what you are doing.

Yes it requires postmaster management, just make sure you have 3/4 slots in your gear/weapons slot to pick up blues off the ground & inventory space to pick up materials & coins. That way you should have minimal things going to the post master to ease your conscious.

Open unfocused umbral engrams, it can drop arsenic bite as a season of arrivals weapon. Get an arsenic with hip-fire grip and archers tempo, add a freehand grip, it's a more accurate and sliiiiightly slower firing Hush substitute that lasts for another year

A small tip i can give in regards of extics is turning in umbrals one by one, if you make sure to have 10 engrams in your inventory whenever you decrypt an umbral and it decides to be an exotic it will turn into an engram and send to the postmaster, you can send engrams from the postmaster to your inventory while at the decoder so you don’t have to quicktravel between decoder and postmaster

Thanks for the vid. One note. You mention in your graphic that worldline zero catalyst you have to kill all 5 escalation protocol bosses. It's just love tap them each unshielded (or in their sensitive bit) with the worldline zero.
11:50 I am 99% sure that Huckleberry's catalyst is NOT specifically tied to those two planets (iirc, I got mine via heroic adventure in the EDZ) - even if I'm wrong on that though, you are incorrect about the Worldline Zero catalyst. It does not require you to kill 5 bosses, but simply land successful damage on 5 different bosses.

I always leave any unclaimed Armor from the season pass as well as the exotics. This really helps fill in gaps well you are power leveling. You can pull the exact piece that you are missing.
Great video. I was cracking up cause I've always done these things in the past and when I try to share this info with others, they usually say that it doesn't work. Im like ok lol. But as far as leaving engrams to go to the post, near the end I hold on to primes/legendary for launch as the world loot table usually updates as well. For those that dont have Le'Monarque or Jotunn or haven't started it yet, it takes 5 weeks to get both because you can only make 2 legendary weapon frames per week so I'm sorry to say there is only 4 weeks left in the season. Currently it is impossible to get both for players that haven't started making frames yet before beyond light.
Stack cores, prisms, and shards... if you have excess then MW your most used exotics (that have great rolls). Use your post master to store them also - but be careful not to overflow and loose.

Keep good rolled common droped items and armor...for cheap 1k infusion. Yes last perdition is a OK pulse rifle...nothing to right home about...but the firmly planted/rampage...is better than a grave robber and high impact reserve roll that you might be stuck with for a week lol

Hey fallout I suggests not hoarding the festival of the Lost bounties because they expire after the event ends, which is right before beyond light, and I suggest not hoarding gambit bounties because the whole playlist is changing and bounties may expire for it

I've spent so many materials in the tribute hall... Going into Beyond Light very poor right now. Hardly played since early into Year 2, and been rushing through everything the past 2 months
Alot of people don't even know about the console puzzles and keycards in the Zero Hour mission. Each run nets you an extra 46 siva per completion which will get it done in 3 weeks rather than 5. You could start it this week and be done before Beyond Light.
@@primeattack yeah, it's kind of a pain in the ass to do the puzzles, but it's worth it. Definitely make sure that all three people know exactly what they are doing before you go in. Have one person at console #1 reading clocks, another at console #2 checking the chart (can find a guide online. Make sure you are reading current weekly singe) and telling the 3rd person which vault they need to be going to. Sometimes they will have to read a 2nd clock on console #2 because of duplicate readings for console #1. This probably all sound foreign right now, but after checking a few guides, it'll make more sense. There are 49 readings you have to put in. Each successful reading adds 15 seconds to the clock, but make sure you get there with about 5 mins remaining to provide room for error and communication.
Tokens are huge. When trying to help friends level fast that is the first thing I ask. How many tokens? One guy had 12k tokens and thus kept up with me in leveling last season.
Once the engram drops it’s already an actual item. Just cloaked as an engram. The rng happens as it drops from the enemy not as you decrypt it. Bungie explained this already year or 2 ago. So it’s impossible to get new season exotics from old engrams.
i'd recommend not grabbing the season pass armour because it drops at prime power, its how i get a boost at the start of each season *its huge for filling lacking armour slots

Weapon parts. Good way to level power. All turn ins to Banshee are legendary and guaranteed to be weapons. Also potential god rolls from world drops.

Helpful hint for the sleeper catalyst is that it requires the oracle chest from the whisper mission.

Can’t they still randomly drop? I know prior to the quests they were random drops that had awful RnG for them.

I honestly got the best roll possible on my first Braytech werewolf about a week ago and I have made it my new main also I have more than 20 exotic weapons in my inventory and change them all out depending on the current situation

Huckleberry's catalyst comes from any heroic adventure, not just mars and mercury. I got mine from IO
or some reason i have 3 exotic engrams on my hunter postmaster and 2 on my warlock postmaster
As well on the exotics.... worst-case scenario, you have something to boost your light even if it's not a new exotic to you.
Hey fallout I suggests not hoarding the festival of the Lost bounties because they expire after the event ends, which is right before beyond light, and I suggest not hoarding gambit bounties because the whole playlist is changing and bounties may expire for it

I thought Bungie had said at some point that they would be fixing Terrabah so that the “Ravenous Beast” maintains charge after weapon swapping. I guess I could be wrong, but at least Traveler’s Chosen proves it is possible (if it wasn’t clear enough already haha)

I've spent so many materials in the tribute hall... Going into Beyond Light very poor right now. Hardly played since early into Year 2, and been rushing through everything the past 2 months
No point in putting Outbreak or Worldline catalysts on this list as they take 5 weeks to complete, not enough time unless people have already started
To be fair if you do the puzzles it only takes 3 weeks for the outbreak.
Alot of people don't even know about the console puzzles and keycards in the Zero Hour mission. Each run nets you an extra 46 siva per completion which will get it done in 3 weeks rather than 5. You could start it this week and be done before Beyond Light.

@@primeattack yeah, it's kind of a pain in the ass to do the puzzles, but it's worth it. Definitely make sure that all three people know exactly what they are doing before you go in. Have one person at console #1 reading clocks, another at console #2 checking the chart (can find a guide online. Make sure you are reading current weekly singe) and telling the 3rd person which vault they need to be going to. Sometimes they will have to read a 2nd clock on console #2 because of duplicate readings for console #1. This probably all sound foreign right now, but after checking a few guides, it'll make more sense. There are 49 readings you have to put in. Each successful reading adds 15 seconds to the clock, but make sure you get there with about 5 mins remaining to provide room for error and communication.

Tokens are huge. When trying to help friends level fast that is the first thing I ask. How many tokens? One guy had 12k tokens and thus kept up with me in leveling last season.

Once the engram drops it’s already an actual item. Just cloaked as an engram. The rng happens as it drops from the enemy not as you decrypt it. Bungie explained this already year or 2 ago. So it’s impossible to get new season exotics from old engrams.
I wish bungie would reveal the eververse line up for next season, Oh and Sturm?, thought that was nessus related..
i'd recommend not grabbing the season pass armour because it drops at prime power, its how i get a boost at the start of each season *its huge for filling lacking armour slots
