It surprised me how much more I was into SF3 than 1 and 2. Kinda turned me around on the idea of SF4 getting revived, even if they call it something else
I'm mostly familiar with the Starforce series, and I'll say my ranking for them is probably 1-A, 2-B, 3-S. I love the story, and I admit I just really am into the gameplay, just a taste thing not saying I'm "right" or anything just really like it. I would have 1 in S but it's the little rough patches like the touch screen stuff grinds it down a bit, but the story really does carry that part.
Haven’t watched the video yet and don’t remember the last one so I’ll see how close it is to mine: S: BN 3, BN 2 (I thought they had good story and best navis. BN 3 has best post-game) A: BN6, BN 5 (Story was good in 6 but not the best Navi’s. 5 I wasn’t a fan of the liberation missions personally) B: BN 4 (Story was really repetitive but had cool Navi’s and added some new things like finally normal navi combatants rather than only virus battles - though difficulty could have been better and had worst enemy viruses of any game) C: BN 4.5, BN 1 (4.5 was fun being able to play as multiple navis but the gameplay loop was repetitive. BN 1 is more of a proof of concept game and lacks gameplay improvements from BN 2 onwards) I didn’t play the Starforce games so can’t rank them.
Ok so following up great video!I'm a lifelong fan of every other Mega Man series but only got to Star Force early last year and then Battle Network with the legacy collection. Your reasons were spot on as a series veteran so to keep it brief I'll say my order is Star Force 3 > Battle Network 6 > BN3 > SF1 > BN5 > SF2 > BN4 > BN2 (freeze man 😅 👎) >BN1 for sure the worst and I hope we get the DS remake when the Star Force LC comes!
@@tommycwills Thanks for commenting and solid order! Would be nice for OSS and Double Team to be made accessible beyond emulation, hell even the spin-offs should get another chance even if I'm not wild about them.
16:22 BN4 is the only game with versions I can say are definitive with one another, Red Sun is superior over Blue Moon and its not hard to see why. Even the weakest Soul Combination for the first playthrough of Red Sun, Guts-Wind-Thunder is still miles better than the worst Blue Moon combo, Aqua-Wood-Junk. New Blue Moon players are going to absolutely struggle against Duo because they don't have any good Double Souls to use against him.
Starforce 3 is so underrated, glad to see it’s finally starting to get some love 🙏

@@CobraCodexdefinitely, 11/10 video btw you deserve way more viewers, keep up the quality content

Nice. Thank you. I don't know why there isn't more Battle Network with Starforce rankings considering they're from the same universe.
I think Star Force tends to get overlooked in general, maybe if we get an LC there'll be more discussion about it in relation to BN
This is the content I live for 😅 I'll add my thoughts after actually watching the video
