While I think this list is pretty comprehensive regarding my thoughts, there are some placements I would adjust slightly. Nothing worth redoing the list for but wanted to mention it for posterity.
I usually fall off Pokémon for a couple generations and then dip back in to see what’s changed. Sometimes I’m rewarded and sometimes I’m punished 😂 Legends Arceus I had a good time with tbh but I have rarely been as bored with a game as I was with Sword/Shield.
I think I need to dip out of new Pokemon releases for a bit in hopes of them getting their shit together lol. Passing on the DLC helps but it's been such a roller coaster of quality the past decade
Ok yeah I’ve finished the video now and it seems super clear that the Switch generation has been a huge mess. I agreed with your takes of all the ones I’ve played (my wife and I had a great time playing both Arceus and Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee) and I was 100% correct to skip BDSP and Scarlet/Violet. I am glad to not be keeping up with this series. Probably the biggest drop in quality of anything Nintendo is affiliated with.
@@tommycwills Honestly Scarlet/Violet wouldn't be that bad if they weren't so damn buggy, but the games keep selling regardless so no incentive to change I guess
