    I said no citations on Form N-400. At interview, after civil and English test, the officer was about to go through my Form, I said I would like to make a correction on my Form, IO was alerted and expected some thing bad, after I brought up traffic tickets, he was like "big deal", and said he will come to it later. After all those yes or no questions, he asked what about those tickets, I said I am a professional driver, I had quite a few tickets. He asked any arrest? DUI? suspension? I answered no. He said congratulations.

    What happen if I can no longer trace or find the receipt of the fines that I paid for already because the incident happened more than 4 years ago? I remember, I paid my ticket using a credit card & I cannot remember which credit card & that card I’ve already closed long time ago. I don’t have any arrest nor been charged by an officer.

    I didn’t see this video. I already asked for a correction to my N400 form before I saw this video. I had a ticket which is less than 500 dollars and because most of what I read online said I have to disclose, I decided to e mail uscis to allow me edit my form. I have paid my ticket and I have the payment receipt but I answered NO to question 23 that talked about citation because the question did not specifically mention traffic tickets and I didn’t think of that at the time until I started reading inline and I felt I should have said yes. But after watching your video and reading page 13 of uscis I 485 document rule, I found that I do not need to disclose. What do I do now about the e mail I sent to the uscis? Why is there so much confusion everywhere really?

    Where can you get the DOCUMENTATION for tickets that are 3-4 years or 6-7 years ago?

    If you say "yes" to part 12 #23 = "cited" (for a ticket, which you were not arrested for, and that was paid), how does that effect your answer to part 12 #22.."Ever committed...an offense..for which you were NOT arrested?"..I presume you put "yes", because the traffic ticket was a driving offense and there was no arrest?? Confusing verbage!!

    If we decide to play safe and disclose minor traffic citations in our Form N-400, do we need to file originals or court certified copies of the court disposition?

    • @lunarosa321
      @lunarosa321 2 года назад

      yes, always bring certified court dispositions to interview just to cover your back if they decide to ask for it.
