I have a 2017 highlander platinum I just got Alpine f511 installed, when I call another person they hear an eco I have tried everything even replace the unit to another new one by alpine factory recommendation but the problem continues until now. Any suggestions?
Great video. Questions. 1. Where do I find the serial on this model? 2. How do I do a firmware update? 3. I've seen videos of connecting this unit to Maestro. How? Also is there a away to connect this unit to an ODB2 bluetooth connection, for direct engine/performance data? Thanks.
Instead of coming out with a new hardware, why don’t they just fix the damn firmware on the iOS-f411 that is already out. So many dumb hinges like bluetooth not remember phones, or once it does remember, it then prompts you to load phone books every time you reconnect even though there is a checkbox to remember settings. It’s asinine that Al-one has fallen so far from the dominant car entertainment system of the late 80s/
Low resolution, no wireless android auto, no dab antenna included, not even a 1 din frame included for installation, and the most expensive in this class of headunits. Yeah no thanks
