I just bought this and used it yesterday for the first time. My playing partner was using a Garmin S60 which is a great watch, but IMO requires too much attention during the round. The V3 was so easy to use and lightweight enough that you don’t know you are wearing it. I am still learning how to add penalties and to not include a putt from off the green as a putt in my stats. However, as you mentioned, no device is without nuances. This is a fun product to use and I am happy with my purchase. I only wish it had a step counter built into the watch. Maybe in a future release? Thanks for the video...

Quick question - when you are gathering your distances for each club and you go onto the data and take your average distance for say your 8 iron. How do you take into consideration hitting small shots back into the fairway or if you use your 8 iron around the green?

Thanks for the question Niall. The system identifies them as abnormal and removes them full shot data averages

The system will take out the outliers when calculating P-averages. Personally, when I review and edit my round I just mark them as "positional" then it's never even a consideration

Interested in getting one of these for when I come and have my lessons with you but hate wearing watches when I play. Be good if you can strap it to your bag and use it that way

I know the feeling. I’ve tended to switch the watch to my right arm recently

If you play right hand it has to be worn on your left hand and vice Versa if you play left handed. The watch has to be close to the club sensor when you make your stroke.

seems to be getting universal acclaim from many reviewers ! just wondering whether its worth the extra £30 for the performance stuff ?
