Gentlemen,Thanks you guys for this remarkable video this week from West Africa in Banjul, The Gambia to shows these amazing places on the streets in August of 2024❤❤❤
That meat u ate is called forroh chaya, although the interpretation is right lol and the rice is called mbahal made of rice, groundnut flour and lotus beans also eaten with palm oil or some butter
The food is locally called NYANKATANG. The rice is mixed with steamed seasoned grounded ground nut. Cook the rice. When about to be done, you put the mix over it and ready to eat.
HI Brothers from NIGERIA,, now you Guys can see that all The Capital Cities you Guys have gone through from Lagos in Nigeria to The City of Banjul in The Gambia, The City Of Banjul is The SMALLEST CITY in Main LAND AFRICA. One can even walk through the length and Breath of THE WHOLE CITY in les than 24Hrs.. I think too that you Guys have Discovered that The City of Banjul is a Half Island because The City is all sorounded by water and the entrance in and out of Banjul is just a strip of land which goes up to The KOMBOS now called The GBA// MEANING The Greater Banjul Area which is Kombo SAINT MARYS AREAS. Thanks Guys and enjoy your stay in The Smiling Coast of Africa. Bye.
The whole banjul is not up to alimosho local government in Lagos state, very poor and dirty, I hate food poison, my two weeks experience was hell, but thank God I went with enough money of not I'll get stuck, very dirty and low in health facilities.
Stupid Nigerian why your people living in the Gambia nearly hundred thousand of them, you're drug dealer that's they deported you back to you chaotic country so called west Africa super power 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You guys are welcome as we all know is the smiling Coast of Africa The Gambia stay safe nice people in The Gambia visit Nigerian Market and Talinding were you can meet thousands of Nigerians leaving peaceful in The Gambia 😅😅😅😅
I'm surprised that they actually allowed you to record. I've been there several times. And each time, while I was recording or taking pictures. I was harassed and even threatened by the police. I was even forced by their police to delete my videos and pictures. Even though they were nothing but me taking videos walking down the street. The only time there were no complaints was when I was at Juffereh or other tourists areas
I'm not African, but I am of Caribbean descent. This is a genuine question why do most roads that I see in Africa have dirt on it and to be honest with you I'm not sure if it's dirt or sand But it always seems like there's some form of dust on the road I don't normally see this in other countries even countries that are poor like the Caribbeans and some parts of the Philippines. Is this dust on the road from nearby Villages or is it from the wind can someone please explain. Because I can't be the only one that noticed it and yes the roads do look nice but I think it would be better without the Dust most of the roads
Those are sandy dusts on the road or Sands those are sands that are blown by the wind remember we are not far from the Greater Sahara desert ...in the town where I live some cars use to stuck in the dry sand and they need a person to push them out
It's "foroh Chaya" It's meat soup and it's very nice. The name is driven from the seller's perspective not the food. Normally it's sold by the moors from Mauritania and their clothing is normally the boubou and Chaya and they are always looking dirty 😅 so people called them foroh Chaya which nearly translate to dirty (Chaya/trouser). 😂😂😂😂
What would be wrong with a country again called Senegambia?? Why do so many people making travel videos obsess about food, and ignore history and culture???
Gambia their cars duty is very cheap that why they have a good cars and is not like other Africa countries they want to scam their citizens with huge cars duty’s Liberia also had a good car duties comparing with other countries in Africa.
you keep leaving unnecessary comments. Enjoy the video without comparisons. Ghana is like a village compared to some countries in Africa. Relax and enjoy the content.

It's "foroh Chaya" It's meat soup and it's very nice. The name is driven from the seller's perspective not the food. Sex tourism? You insulted the country, a muslim country. Whether things happen or not, it is not legal.
Boy stop telling lies about sex tourism, your country has more sex tourism.
Do you see anything to smile about
Banjul is like a town in ghana the entire country is the size of accra
Lagos is like country of its own compared to Ghana
So what???Was this kind of comment necessary???
you keep leaving unnecessary comments. Enjoy the video without comparisons. Ghana is like a village compared to some countries in Africa. Relax and enjoy the content.
This comment was unnecessary. Banjul City, The Gambia is a beautiful City and a beautiful Country, with beautiful people, that’s all that matters.
You must be out of your mind
