The wall turned out amazing Justin! The desk on the otherside is genius, having a semi-enclosed space while still being part of the general area most people would be hanging out in! Love the brightness throughout he interior too. Will definitely have this as inspiration for a future home!
Turned out well! People get hung up on the view. It’s a great view but the unit is still bright and airy. I would off added a quarter foot and actually utilized other side as a bar. And wrapped the built-in on other wall with a floating desk! Bravo looks awesome!
I’d recommend getting a c table as a coffee table replacement. Having a surface in front of you is a small detail that gets over looked. That way if you want to work on a laptop and watch tv, you can. Plenty of affordable options on wayfair
It is indeed amazing. In my opinion though, i would have opted for a projector literally in front of the view, instead of a TV. By doing so you'd have the full view from the moment you walk in.
This is such an aesthetic yet useful design at the same time. I'm definitely going to try and incorporate this creativity if I'm ever looking to redesign haha

Hey Justin! I'd apply a film on all the windows to protect your media wall from UV damage and furniture from fading. Any clear film blocks almost all UV.
I love the space. Gorgeous all around. I think it could be cozier with an ottoman to rest your feet on, since the sofa is armless, but agree that a coffee table would be too bulky. And possibly a tall, slim pedestal drink table on the other side of the sofa. The placement of the mirror isn't very functional, so maybe reorient it so that you can see yourself better without bumping into the dining furniture. Well done!
As an Airbnb Superhost for many years now, the separation is a clever move. Working space (small desk with MacBook) is an additional advantage when having property listed. Thumbs up 👍🏻
Would be cool if the desk setup space had a little longer desk with an iMac 24 inch considering its a very small desktop that would kinda blend in right there for casual use.

i do love how the media wall turned out although instead of a rectangular block wall, it would be better if its tapered just so that it compliments the angular layout and it draws your eyes towards the view that way.

Definitely would have done a space under the tv if it’s hollow, a place for the PlayStation and controls. But otherwise it’s great concept for a Airbnb. If u can I’d attached the freestanding mirror to a wall looks like a disaster waiting to happen😅 I only say this cause I’ve got kids lol.
I do like the looks of the whole appartment but I feel like theres not enough space at the table (since the appartment has two bedrooms and could be used by 4 people) plus the sofa looks like there could only two people sit comfortably so it kinda makes me ask the question if a group of 4 people would actually book a stay at your place

Well done Justin! The idea air the media wall is perfect since it would be difficult for a tv placement without sitting from an angle. After all the detailed explanation, you should give us a ballpark figure of the cost. For many of us who aren't in the contract/Interior design business, we wouldn't know the cost. Also, are you allowed to share with us your contractor for this project?
