We just got back from our 10 day trip in Japan with our 2 year old. Tokyo completely blew my mind. What an incredible city. You guys basically covered our entire itinerary! Glad you had an Epic time!
It’s absolutely amazing there isn’t it! Hope you had a great time! I wish we had had 10 days to do it, trying to cram it all into one day was very tiring 🤣
Tokyo is the largest city on earth, far bigger than NYC and I am a native New Yorker. It's about 4x bigger in size and population than NYC. Not only that, but the entire country of Japan is practically one large interconnected city via the Shinkansen with very little rural land. I've been on random streets in Nagoya, Osaka, Yokohama etc that look like Times Square.
It is definitely one of our favourite cities in the world! We saw some of the cherry blossoms, we arrived right at the end of the bloom so got to see a few 🥰 We will a million percent be back, we loved it so much!
I’ve been waiting for this vlog series to see what you guys got up to in Japan! How good is the Le Shiner with just that hint of garlic? We got the corn dog too which was equally yum. You definitely need to go back as there’s so much more to see in Tokyo alone. Well done for how much you fitted into one day 👌🏻
Thank you! Le Shiner was delish, will have to try the corn dog next time! We knew we weren’t going to get as much as we wanted done but tried to cram as much as physically possible into that day 😆
We stayed 6 days in Tokyo before 4 at Tokyo Disney and still had so much to see we can’t wait to return. shibuyi sky at night was brilliant and team lab borderless the new team lad was fantastic
Great video, we are going to Japan shortly. Glad to see you travelling all over, like China and not just Disney every time like so many Vloggers. I think you do very good general travel videos and expanding out to other countries would be excellent.
Thank you so much! We love Disney but also love exploring new places so you’re going to see lots more new adventures coming up in the next year or so!! 😃
Wow, the art exhibition is absolutely incredible, so cool! What an immersive experience that great fun & fascinating! I can't believe all the drinks and snacks choices in the stores. varied selection, wow. And the shrine is so calming , respectful and full of culture. OMG that crossing & Gaz made me chuckle at 'Where's the lollipop lady'? :) ha ha! Bravo Anj at the street name :) lol brilliant! x
Nah China is crazy too. China alone is richer than the entire EU, has the most skyscrapers in the world, massive cities, insane natural landscapes that look like avatar, Great Wall of China etc. It is so vast you probably haven't even experienced 1/100th of it.
I truly enjoyed this heartfelt vlog i will be in japan for the first time in december i dreamed of this trip ever since age of 10 currently i am 28! These kind of vlogs are rare nowadays its all about the socials but we forget the most important thing making memories with your loved ones hopefully you guys will upload more! Also what is the music called at 15:10?
I've been looking forward to the rest of your Asia vlogs. I'm so glad you've enjoyed Tokyo. It's such a wonderful city to visit. And yes, vending machines, as well as getting snacks from 7/11 are a rite of passage for any visitor. You should try Boss Coffee next time. It's one of my favorite coffee brands in Japan. Especially if you can find a hot mocha...Those are perfection!
We absolutely loved it and wish we’d had much longer. Already planning to get back in a couple of years so will get that added to our list for next time, thank you ☺️
Was it easy to get a kids Welcome Suica? I heard on the video that the machine asks for your birthday, so does it automatically give you a childs Suica for anyone 12 or under? Did you notice any benefits from using the Welcome Suica? I know that it will expire and you can't get any money back from it if you don't use up what is on the card before you leave. Were you guys able to use up your balance well before leaving Japan?
I’m pretty sure we selected a kids option, we did have to input his birthday and I believe when it’s busy they sometimes check passports at the machines to make sure. The main benefit for us was the ease of being able to travel without having to figure out what ticket we needed and buy snacks from the vending machines 😊 We pretty much used up the full balance on all three cards
Hi Kershaws, You know it’s frowned upon to eat and drink whilst walking to Japan. There is not law but it’s counted as rude and disrespectful behaviour. I highly recommend Abroad in Japan and TDR Explorer RUclips channels
We had one sip of the drink and as you’ll see further on in the video we sit to eat the snacks we bought from 7-eleven ☺️ On Takeshita street everyone was walking with their food and drinks, locals and tourists alike
Yes I did see and I want retract my statement. I’m so jealous of you going there it is one destination I would love to go to. But please check out the RUclipsrs I recommend to you
If you can get there I’d highly recommend it, it’s incredible there! For sure our favourite country now 😊 We love TDR, watched literally all his videos multiple times 😆 will check out abroad in Japan, don’t think we’ve discovered them yet!
Unfortunately we didn’t have time to grab a sit down meal this time but really enjoyed all the street food snacking and 7 eleven snacks! We will be back and intend to try as many places as we can!!
AH, I’m sure your visas and ollies school break would able to make your trip not that rush like in this video, please and better pay another longer visit asap
We will definitely be returning in the next couple of years, we loved it! We just didn’t have any longer to spend exploring because of how many destinations we crammed into our three week trip 😁
How about Japan? There are currently about 3.5 million vending machines in Japan, and there are 30,000 convenience stores. However, the prices of products sold at convenience stores have doubled and the quantity has decreased, so people don't go to convenience stores anymore. In Japan, wages are low due to the weak yen. The average annual income is about 4 million yen. Salaries have not increased for about 30 years after the collapse of the bubble economy. Due to the aging population and the decrease in population,
We wouldn’t ever have been brave enough to step outside our comfort zone without RUclips so had to make a wish for the people that support the channel and we meet along the way 🥰

I didn’t claim my bonus points for saying I’m from the Facebook group… hoping that gets me galactic hero….
不思議な感覚ですよね❤
私も行った事ありますが、目が回りそうでした
We loved it there! 😃
So many wonderful places to see 😍. Great video. Big thumbs up 😊👍
Thank you! We feel very lucky to have got to experience the countries we visited this trip! 😃
lol, you can't compare China to Japan. Japan is by far on another level. I hope your family enjoys the rest of your stay!
We really loved both countries 😃 We had a wonderful trip thank you ☺️
Nah China is crazy too. China alone is richer than the entire EU, has the most skyscrapers in the world, massive cities, insane natural landscapes that look like avatar, Great Wall of China etc. It is so vast you probably haven't even experienced 1/100th of it.
How many kids get to go to places like this. Ollie is very lucky young man. I was 16 before I went further than sale 😅
I love that we are able to take him to these places 🥰 We all feel very lucky ☺️
@@TheKershawsAdventures he'll remember these holiday with you forever.
楽しく見させてもらいました😊次回は是非、横浜にも遊びに来てください。
Thank you! We 100% want to visit more places in Japan next time we visit 😊
Strawberries!?! And cream!?! On bread!!??!! I've only just git my head round garlic bread 😂
Fantastic vlog. Thank you again for taking us all along.
Thank youuu 😄 You know what, it actually really worked, who would have thought?!?! We got it again another couple of times too just to make sure 🤣
Travel all the way around the world to be subtly insulated by a fortune. Classic 😂
I think you're gifted Gaz, even if the whole of Japan doesn't.
🤣🤣🤣 thanks! 😆

コーンスープとかコンソメスープの缶は驚かれたことある

日本人も食べ歩き好きです😊
日本に来て1番美味しかった食事は何ですか?

That’s a shame to hear. We found it incredibly cheap compared to the prices we pay for similar over here in the UK
マイクパンチ!

Your wish, you guys ❤❤❤😭
