The French head of the Michelin Guide once said without a doubt that Japan is the best country in the world for gourmet food, and I completely agree.🇫🇷 However, there’s one thing I need to watch out for. If I stay in Japan for too long, I might accidentally eat too much and end up gaining weight. There are just so many things I want to try for the first time, and even more I’ll want to eat again!😅
Hahaha I feel you! Every time I come to Japan I lose control with my eating habits 😅 BUT what I will say is that the quality is always so premium that I don’t find myself gaining weight. And yes it’s such a diverse culinary scene and what amazes me is that even the random restaurants that I stumble into by complete chance are always incredible. The quality is unmatched! Japan is waiting for you ❤️
100% Kitsuneya is delicious! That broth is the mother broth and has been boiling for over 60 years I believe. Always have to stop by there when I am in Tsukiji. I need to visit the train curry place as well Thank you for the recommendations!

Great video. I waited for the gyudon bowl when I went to fish market and I thought it was just okay ha. I loved the history behind the spot and that it was a staple for workers years back. A solid working persons meal is what I gathered.

Hello, I'm Japanese. If you don't know where to go to a restaurant in Tokyo, you won't have to worry because the underground shopping mall at Tokyo Station is a restaurant area. There is also Yakiniku Like, a BBQ restaurant where you can eat casually by yourself, so you can eat without worrying about the people around you. For people who cannot eat pork for religious reasons, there is Genghis Khan, a lamb BBQ, and Yakitori, a dish where chicken is cut into small pieces and skewered and grilled. There are also soft drinks and juices available at pubs for people who can't drink alcohol, so you don't have to worry. There are probably not many vegetarian or vegan restaurants, so it's a good idea to check the internet beforehand.
I throughly enjoy my first venture of your channel and I am now a subscriber. Dawn and the Tsukiji Market were already on my list of wants. I think I will do my best to try them all, however Manma would be my first choice.
