Not necessarily! It really will depend on where in the town you are, just as most towns are.

I’ve lived here for decades and never have had an issue with crime, neither has anyone in my family. Like any city, the vast majority of crimes happen in certain areas of town and the perpetrator and victim know one another. I always feel safe wherever I go. If people just use common sense, they will be fine. We love living here and our 4 young adult children have all chosen to stay here to raise their families. Always be suspicious when statements that start with, “I heard” or “they say”, lol. It’s almost always either not true or grossly exaggerated.
