The Nomos Club Sport Neomatik 39 launches a new size and new colours for the collection

- The three new Nomos Club Sport Neomatik 39 models we're taking a look at today are inspired by the hues of those long, warm summers that creep into the early months of autumn, while the names themselves - Tabac, Ember, and Smoke - remind of smoky cigar lounges and the rich smell of tobacco. The dials aren't the only novelty, as Nomos also introduces a new case size for the Club Sport, now measuring 39.5mm - a reasonable size for one of the brand's sportiest models, and one well-suited to most wrists.

Good looking watches but adding 500$ to get a display caseback (that should come as standard in this price range) is beyond greedy imo
I just bought a Neomatik in blue. Love the vibrant dial, they really nailed it.
I own the 42 in blue. Easily a favorite in my collection. These 39’s are gorgeous, just wish they had a date which is useful for me. Still, my eyes are on the Smoke.

Same here! Love the 42 blue one! I wear it on a dark-blue Nomos nylon strap. Sooo very confortable.

If they release this with a sunburst blue or turquoise dial I may not be able to resist.
I’ve never liked Nomos, but these watches hit the sweet spot not only in size but design.
I tried on the 39mm smoke and 42mm black. I have large 7.75in wrists, so the 42mm looked best on me. I couldn't get past the date on the black dial. The 39mm did look good tho. If they did a 42mm smoke dial with no date, I would have bought it.
Lug to Lug ?
The nomos weakness
Nomos lug to lug is why I have not bought one. I love some of the dials design ways/colors and the inhouse movement - but I think I would hate how it wore on wrist, esp. for the price tier it resides for the most compelling models.
Imagine choosing one of your signature features, to worsen the wearing experience and look awkward on the wrist.
Disagree. I went to a dealer yesterday and put that smoke watch on.
I thought the lugs were to long but they were not. My wrist is 15-15 1/2cm
and it was totally fine. Pictures don’t do justice. To be fair: they shouldn’t be
longer but go to a store in real life and see for yourself. It was surprised.
Them jawns are nice, I would buy it on the bracelet of the 37mm!!!!!!!!!!!

long been a fan the bauhaus design, BUT always come down to the torus like polished case and that bracelet isn't for me, Really want to love them, just cant quiet get there

Got the Club sport 42 in blue. It's easy my most beloved watch. So I ordered the new 39,5mm one in "smoke" (silver) color. Unfortunatley it takes about 6 month min., since they can't keep up with the demand, my AD told me.

Between the price, the super long lugs that Nomos loves, and the (imo) poor finishing on the hands, idk about this one. Which is a shame because I like the dials and colors but Nomos just doesn’t quite do it for me these days.
Excellent watch except having unacceptable long lugs!
PCL’s and polished clasp ruined it for me. Fully brushed bracelet would have been better IMO.
Watch design wonderful but bracelet…..looking lug to lug is too long.
3:05 that movement is way too dusty for its price point and immediately after you can see they didn’t deburr the handset. Yikes.

Could you elaborate? I feel Nomos makes some of the best and unique designs out there when compared to the oversaturated market at the moment.
