At 3:30 the Proctor & Gamble manager said "we don't sell 5 gallon buckets to the public". This implies that they sell it to someone. The tech at 3:56 said it had high water content but did not deny it was thier product. This looks like grey market activities where a manufacturer makes and sells a lower grade, less expensive product for export only, but it is then redirected back and then improperly re-labled for sale in the US. Read about grey market products, it's industries dirty little secret.

Salty Fish - you got to work and about an hour into it you start to feel itchy, you go another 30 minutes and now you feel like your skin is on fire. You rush to the bathroom lift up your clothes and see a 3rd degree burn.
The cause the new laundry detergent. A brand you have used for years.
You go to the hospital rack up 2 thousand dollars in medical bills.
You sue P&G and lose because it’s not their product and now you have to pay their legal fees.
      You have been burned twice.
The batch they tested was watered down but what about others?
The only one who loses here is the consumer. The police are now trying to help and you want to know why waste the time?
Well if it was you, would you be yelling at the police to know why haven’t they done anything?
This is no different then someone selling cooking oil for DYI Botox injections.

I think the reason Tide is going after them is due to profits, but that isn't the only thing at risk. People might get allergic reactions to the counterfeit stuff.

    • @auntiem873

Sunny Wu - true, and then Tide gets blamed and it ruins their reputation. That’s why the company wants to go after them. They built their company on their reputation.
Yes they are losing money but they could lose the company cause people no longer trust in the product. Word of Mouth is a Hell-a-thing.

I bought a bucket of tide and downy. They both smelled and worked like tide and downy you would buy from the supermarket. It lasted for months and I had no issues with it. No skin irritation, no breakouts or any negative results. P&G issues are someone has their formulas and selling the product at dirt cheap prices and they aren't making a dime from it. So you have police officers chasing ppl that sell these products instead of chasing murderers and rapists? Imagine one of these officers going home to his/her family and saying today was a rough One! I had to bust a laundry detergent ring. I didn't get a chance to find the weirdo that's trying to lure girls into his car... I hate ppl!

Yeah I do the same to dish soap, I think dish soap alone is way too oily or soapy it seems too strong just to be used with dirty dishes.
I see in commercials they squirt a generous amount into the sponge then start to wipe dishes.
No no I take a couple squirts into a cup and fill the rest up with water till it’s all bubbly blue then I’d dip the sponge in and soak up as much as I could and start to wash dishes with multiple dips after rinsing out the sponge so I don’t get the water dirty much.
I believe it’s the same with clothes and you definitely can get that smell there are even those drying pads or lint pads I think they’re called which can help the smell after the initial wash or extra little soaps you can use.
Or if you buy this and know it’s been diluted.
Hell if you want more soap just buy an original and use a little of it along side it.
Powders just as good also if not I actually think powers better
