Apparently these could be legit Tide. Tide’s comment to the buckets are they don’t tell them to the public. It’s probably the international version without all of the extra stain remover stuff.
The reason Tide don't make 5-gallon buckets is that it would be around 100.00 and people would know how bad they are getting ripped off ! The so called watered down version looked thicker than the real Tide when the guy was pouring it out. Probably works better and Tide said we have to put a stop to this!
My mom fell for this after my niece told her about it and she fell for it. She paid $35 dollars for one of those big buckets. I told her don't you ever buy this crap again. But in general, my family is comprised of some of the most gullible people ever. My niece, on the other hand, is always on the prowl for cheap stuff and doesn't care if its illegal. Sometimes, I think I was adopted.
I laughed when they said, there was a lot of water in the counterfeit product. There’s also a lot of water in the genuine stuff too! On a different note, those Downy Softener Blue & Pink 5 Gallon Buckets are adorable. I was thinking there would make cute “Toy Bins” after you’re finished using all of your bogus fabric softener!
P&G is glossing over the fact that some brands of detergent ARE sold in 5-gallon buckets and are perfectly legitimate. You can find them at Sams Club and Costco. Those are low-end brands but they work for some people. But I don't get the crazy stuff people do for Tide anyway, like stealing it or these fake buckets. It is not the best detergent. Persil is a much better product. Tide's main feature is that it is often overpriced. There are better and cheaper options.
The cop that was being interviewed riding around in the car was really pouring it on thick for the cameras with his over dramatics. If we're talking about "fake" laundry detergent, what the hell does that have to do with his body and all of his surgeries..??.. This was NOT dangerous police work at all. Smfh
Keep listening right after that, it goes to say that he leads the task force on this knockoff stuff. Got tired of getting hurt, so so does this instead.
I actually asked a Home Depot employee where their big 5 gallon bucket of Tide is. He looked at me like I was crazy. Until today, I actually thought those were legit. No wonder my clothes didn't seem to get clean. I was always blaming the washing machine. A little store near me sells them but I guess the law can catch up to them.
So they tested the counterfeit tide, was it tide that's just watered down? So it's not actually fake tide? Surely they can test it on a component/ingredients break down and not just testing it in a washing machine.
@@Rambybambi you believe a bias test by a bias tide employee 😂😂. I still buy those 5 gallon buckets and never had an issue! Plus who the hell eats chocolate like a slob in a white T 😂

Yeah they doing wrong job.
Economy has been doing well, crime has fallen and they have to pretend to be useful to keep collecting that tax money.
Says the guy with the pudding stain on his t-shirt
They come in that place like there was a shooting with their level 3 helmets
Yeah fuck the safety of consumers and fuck the honest workers who actually make the legit thing who’s workers are in trouble.
This is what almost half my paycheck is going?
That's what you get for living in a freakin' dimocrat controlled state. Your welcome.

I guess you'd call this crime "money laundering"
Trystn you tide better luck next tide
😂live for the corny jokes
Waste of tax payer money indeed.
In the lab with “unknown liquid” yet not wearing gloves 🧤
And now a War on Detergent?
AmericanCitizenship not detergent. counterfeit goods in general
Well i guess we can call it " Money *Laundry* "
*ba dum tiss

yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
Hahahaaaa
Damn it I was going to comment that hahaha!
And how come Amazon hasn't been raided for selling all that counterfeit merchandise?!?!
Prove?
Why cant they make 5 gallon tide pod buckets?
You can get them but you have to be a caterer looking to feed twenty or more people.
Because stupid parents are going to let there kids eat it
Jerry Dejesus yeah they get you pretty high, it's best only adults eat such things
Jake Mitch haha
I buy commercial arm and Hammer 5gal bucket and it is the real deal.
Or so your dealer has led you to believe...
Aaron Scarpa well he's obviously a satisfied customer so what's the harm then? This is a waste of our fkn tax dollars
Apparently these could be legit Tide. Tide’s comment to the buckets are they don’t tell them to the public. It’s probably the international version without all of the extra stain remover stuff.
Sorry Tide But When It Comes Too Laundy Detergent I’m Taking That Big Ass Bucket Of Tide.... It’s Quanity Over Quality My Beloved Friend 😂😂😂
It's just water with a scent frgrance might as well wash it with water only
Hi have a nice day no it was just a "controlled test"
@@Noname-lk2ol oh
Lol
I'm about to go buy some now a store near me sells the 5gallon bucket
Why the hell do you need a SWAT team to pick up some laundry detergent? 0:23
PhantomMatrix lmao i was thinking the same thing
May be a dirty thong up someone's ass
Better to be safe than sorry
They get the equipment and weapons and can't wait to use it.
PhantomMatrix police miltizaration at its finest
So the counterfeiters have been taking a lot of people to the cleaners.
If it works i dont care!
It doesn't
I laughed when they said, there was a lot of water in the counterfeit product. There’s also a lot of water in the genuine stuff too!
On a different note, those Downy Softener Blue & Pink 5 Gallon Buckets are adorable. I was thinking there would make cute “Toy Bins” after you’re finished using all of your bogus fabric softener!
we... we... have... killers, drug dealers, guns and etc but LAWD forbid we have SYNTHETIC LAUNDRY SOAP! OH NO!
It's just soap lol
Thanks my pet
@James Meijer hes just mad adventure time finished. Dont worry his child ass cant grow up yet
@@CrimTube your mother
They just did it bc they weren’t getting money from it 😂
The guys are the Laundry "Deterrents"
I will show myself out
Are we Still doing Phrasing you should have more likes ill give ya 1
P&G is glossing over the fact that some brands of detergent ARE sold in 5-gallon buckets and are perfectly legitimate. You can find them at Sams Club and Costco. Those are low-end brands but they work for some people. But I don't get the crazy stuff people do for Tide anyway, like stealing it or these fake buckets. It is not the best detergent. Persil is a much better product. Tide's main feature is that it is often overpriced. There are better and cheaper options.
I make my own detergent that works way better than Tide.
Patrick McCullough Tide is overpriced.
I used to buy Tide, but it's way overpriced. Arm & Hammer with Oxi Clean works great, and is half the price.
Kim Howell how..share you recipe please
Kim Howell me too
The state burning down and you can go to jail for this .
You can always be an inmate firefighter. LOL
Great commercial for tide.
"The boys in blue"....Blatantly wearing khakis
Suburban House wife: Come on ! I need a quick fix** junkie itch **
They sell that bucket tide at food bazaar for $19.99 if you spend at least $50 or more lol
I confirm!!
Food bazaar supermarket chain has been selling those buckets for quiet some time.
Bruh they got this shit at every fleet market 😂😂😂
I actually asked a Home Depot employee where their big 5 gallon bucket of Tide is. He looked at me like I was crazy. Until today, I actually thought those were legit. No wonder my clothes didn't seem to get clean. I was always blaming the washing machine. A little store near me sells them but I guess the law can catch up to them.
On the next episode of breaking bad 2.....Forget crystal meth!! The team goes to make the next hottest thing....laundry detergent!!
They got the laundromat setup above the lab too! It’s perfect!
Imagine going to jail for selling laundry soap 😂😂😂
Looks more like an ad than a news story. Is this the trend for the future?
So they tested the counterfeit tide, was it tide that's just watered down? So it's not actually fake tide? Surely they can test it on a component/ingredients break down and not just testing it in a washing machine.
Did watch the video? The result were the same if you just used water without soap.
@@Rambybambi you believe a bias test by a bias tide employee 😂😂. I still buy those 5 gallon buckets and never had an issue! Plus who the hell eats chocolate like a slob in a white T 😂
pat, stop being intellectually lazy. They said it was watered down detergent labelled as Tide. Hell it could have had asbestos in it for all you know.
No wonder those tide pods weren’t killing people , just a whole lotta water
😂🤣😂🤣😂
She said to " the public", means they do sell it and I bet its real, they are just saying its not! Whatever now Ive seen it all
They actually do sell 5 gallon buckets . Dry cleaners buy them in bulk.
Yes they sell those by the pallets to laundry mats, hotels, schools, universities and so on. I'm sure they also sell them to liquidator stores. They prob redistribute them to local supermarkets and make a few bucks here and there.
Kirkland powder detergent. Best for money
Kirkland is the worse brand.
@@neurozero how so?
I bought a bucket once at a swap meet knowing it was fake and it worked juss fine these mofos juss love to exaggerate!!
Bro this is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen 😭😂
Thank you law enforcement! I can now wash my clothes in peace knowing that fake ass tide is off the streets 🙌🏽
I got one of them 5 gallon buckets in my laundry room right now. Works like a champ
You can buy 50 pounds of legit USA made washing powder for $20 to $35 delivered.
What a strange fake item! I make my own laundry detergent from sunlight bar soap..borax and washing soda... extremely cheap and washes better than chemicalled laundry soap!
I call bull corn on that Lauren I made my soap to for quite some time like you just said and Wife kept saying why are my cloths messed up colors changing slightly and not as clean as using gain liquid soap. I did everything to perfect the process of making it just like you claim. Bottom line it didn't hold up to gain but it did work just not as good as I would have liked.
@@fishermanjoe2612
Nope no bull corn here...perhaps its your water. I have heard it does not work as well in hard water. We have very alkaline watet...works very well here no issues.
@@theblondesolution8797 that very well could be true we do have hard water. That being said I went to your channel and watched you play stinky stove and loved your accent.
