This was more of a wife of the party podcast than a something’s burning. But I’m here for it! Stephanie and Leeann have a great friendship.
Bert REPEATING that Jay-Z line and sing-rapping it twice was one of the hardest things to watch that I've ever seen.

Leanne and Stephanie! I don't think I have ever seen two people more destined to become friends than these two ladies. They have a vibe like they have been best friends since kindergarten

Why I love Bert so much can be summed up in one sentence from this episode...." You know the worst part....." cuts the tension beautifully. What an amazing family.
i have no stake in the game but i love Georgia for what she did for Leanne
I just picked up my wife and daughter from the airport earlier after they went and visited in laws for a week. I just realized, after watching this, all the work I did around the house this past week.... The pool, the house, the cars, I got everything clean and perfect for them when they got home. Even though they were gone a week, I did that to make them happy when they got home.
Despite Bert’s almost comical narcissism, you can’t help but root for him…he genuinely appears to be a good dude.
I'm always prepared for Bart Krusher to interrupt people, but he really held back with these two. :)
Proud of you Bert, the movie was great! Leanne talking about Georgia’s letter really hit me in my feelers. You guys are great parents, I hope my son grows up to be as thoughtful as Georgia. Good job Big Guy!!

This was my first Something’s Burning and wow, I was texting a friend the whole time while watching, being like “This is what a healthy relationship looks like. This is what I want. This is beautiful.” And then the Mother’s Day story came up and I was crying because I lost my mom early last year and miss her so damn much. Y’all have a beautiful family and such a beautiful friendship here, too, and ugh. Just. So refreshing, heartening, and rejuvenating for the soul to get to share in it. Thank you for making this and sharing it with us. ❤️
This was genuinely the best episode yet. Everything hit for me. Great job guys. Having grown kids myself, that part was awesome.

I really love this show, the family feeling is there and males me happy. Every time Bert cooks for someone, you know they're cool.
This was the best episode of Somethings Burning! LeeAnn and Stephanie are the best and the conversations provoked heartfelt tears many times. Awesome. So happy for the success of the movie. I loved The Machine and saw it in the theatre opening weekend. Can't wait for Fat Astronauts!!!

That Mother’s Day part brought a tear to my eye. I’ve definitely been taking my mom for granted and that was the kick in the ass I needed to start appreciating her more while she’s still around. Georgia sounds like a real sweetheart
This was a great episode. The more I watch Burt do his thing and just talk and be himself, the more I like him and feel that he's such a genuine, loyal, kind, caring loving man to his wife, his family, his friends. His wife and his children are amazing! Great family! Great friends! Wonderful times! That's what it's all about and what we're missing in this world.

And, thus, I could see what truly awesome people Bert and LeeAnn must be. The joy that you all manifest and put out into the world feels limitless and therapeutic, especially in an era as hard and as in need as we are these past few years. Congrats and thank you!

Were lucky to have these podcasts...My day today as like many of my days was boring, filled with work for ten hours, I'm kind a broke, haven't got much going on, yet an hour or so of Bert's podcasts, I feel like I have been social, I've laughed, learnt things sometimes, de stressed, de compressed.
I feel we are privileged to know these amazing people by proxy.
I know it cannot be easy being so accessible to the public, but I can say from me as one person, it really is the highlight of many of my days, and I am grateful to you Bert, Bert's family, Joe and Joes circle, and the whole podcast community really.
Especially during the lockdowns of the pandemic, but now so more than ever you were a shining light, keep up the great work.
