Nice restoration! Honestly I’m surprised anything worked with the way that board looked.
How did you get his mask off? Did you end up cutting it or just carefully removing piece by niece out of the bottom?
Thanks! There’s an updated demo video with his mouth finally glued properly & I wired his head motor to his eyes so he has head turning. And the board did have to be cleaned a little bit or he probably wouldn’t have lasted much longer lol. Luckily the components & traces were okay! And I did have to cut a little slit in the back.
Amazing work!! I just picked up this one last week on offer up for cheap but he’s busted up! Head is broken off. Sadly looks like his mouth mechanism is completely broken and missing. I love working on these and bringing them back from the dead! Love your videos and hope to see more of your in depth rebuilds soon!! Keep up the good work

Thank you very much for your informative video. I have the Freddy and Micheal Myers from 2010. Both have same issue with arm not raising. Upon review, it appears some drilled a screw into the joint that makes the arm rise and lower. I need to do a better fix on it. The screw is unreliable. Any idea what I can use? I can send a picture….I would really like to get these fixed by Halloween. Thank u in advance.
hello. I have a 2010 Freddy that has a broken mouth, arm doesn't go all the way up (when it goes up at all, index razor finger doesn't move, and purple button doesn't work, as well as the adapter jack is very finicky... please help? I'd love some advice to be able to fix it myself! I have very limited time, only until June 27 (2 days!). Many thanks!
Unfortunately, unless you already have a lot of replacement parts, I don’t foresee it being done in 2 days. I would be able to help, but you would have to email me (it’s in my about me)
Hey I’m about to purchase one of these and the only working thing on him is the eyes he’s 250 is it worth it
Oh no lol. Just eye movement & sound? $100-$175 at most.
Unless you know how to repair em, or know someone who does. Then it’s worth the gamble of $250

Do you have the link to the adapter jack? I have a Freddy Krueger in almost identical condition with the rain damage and his arm was snapped.

Hey there m, I recently picked up an old Jason Voorhees Gemmy life size and it needs some repair!! I’ve been looking for some help? Wouldn’t mind taking some advice from you if you were willing to offer some?
Does his hand use a 9T or 10T gear, because I put a 10T in mine and the arm only worked for a few activations then it stopped and whenever I took it apart to look at the gear spinning it looks like it has a hard time turning counter clockwise but spins fine the other way

Question my doesn't go up ? I pressed the button I have tried the shoulder he still don't go up
Check the bottom of the base for locking pins, they may be still inside there. If you see 2 empty holes then they’re not there, try pushing down harder on the shoulders
