You're not the only one, I've seen an endless number of comments like yours 😂🥰!
They grow up in the Palisades, Los Angeles, Ca. (Have you heard their 2020 album 'A Steady Drip Drip Drip'? There's a song on it, 'Pacific Standard Time', which is fantastic.
You have a connection revealed in 'Let The Monkey Drive' ('Exotic Creatures Of The Deep', 2008) too, it begins: "We're driving north on Highway 1 toward Santa Barbara, Lots of sun, Pacific Ocean on the left hand side".
Ron was born on August 12, 1945 and Russell on October 5, 1948.
      ‼️I repeat!! ‼️
To all of you people who have missed Sparks 24th studio album as Sparks.
      A STEADY DRIP DRIP DRIP!!!
It's a beautiful, inovative, crazy, insane, joyful, sad and more beautiful album.
Also, listen to every song before you have the stupidity to reject it. A couple of songs might take a few listenings, but the majority are easy to embrace.
If you count their live collection from the 'Two Hands One Mouth' tour 2012, you have 25 albums as Sparks.
Then also 'FFS', the collaboration with Franz Ferdinand. A little collab meant to be just a few songs, but ended up in first an album, 12 songs, and a tour. The album was re-issued as 'DeLuxe' version with additional 4 songs.
I think that those six guys must have liked to work together 😂😂
Including 'FFS' Sparks has 25 studio albums and one live collection from the their solo tour 'Two Hands, One Mouth'.
This since their first album 'Halfnelson', 1971 (which was the name of the group, their name was changed, the album re-issued as 'Sparks' the year after), but the earliest recording accessible is 'Computor Girl' which is amazing in many ways, check it up! You can find it on YT, or the 'Past Tense, the Best of Sparks', the first song (at least at the triple CD edition, I don't remember about the other, double CD or double vinyl). Presented ("Yes, it has crackles on it. Thank you.") 😂 😂 😂 Private vinyl copy, obviously.

Brilliant song, however I can't watch this without smiling and thinking of Vic n Bob. It started as Vic n Bob doing Sparks and now it's Sparks doing Vic n Bob.
