    It seems like Asana took away the ability to sort by the custom field objective in the card view. Based on this, would you still use the objective or is there any alternate way to set things up? Thanks

    Hi Marquis! This was super helpful. Can you clarify what you're using the Backlog section for?

      Hey, thanks for the comment! The backlog is used for any tasks that aren’t started yet and don’t have a due date or assignee. Think of it as an idea dump for things that need to be addressed but aren’t ready to be planned and worked on yet. Hope that helps!

      ​@@MarquisMurray yes I think so. I would like a project that will allow me to calculate the total net value of the current month that I had over.
      savings account debt account living money account emergency pot and that I can see how much money is over in the month before.
      And at Custom Field the category subscription category entertainment category food and drink category home category income category lifestyle category savings category Transportation.
      Under the category subscription, I want to see the subscriptions that have to be paid monthly under the category entertainment
      comes BIOS BOWLING CONCERT PARTY
      Under the category food and drink [when you buy something outside the supermarket]
      comes Groceries drinks coffee restaurant
      candy
      Under category home
      comes salary Electra taxes rent internet loan home repair home phone tv insurance

    Hey Marquis, thank you for the video :) I am currently in the process of acquiring the necessary skills to become an efficient freelancer virtual assistant. I've been learning different platforms such as Shopify and Microsoft excel and social media management. I've gone through the training with Asana and I know my way around, but I'm still a little confused as to what exactly I say I can do for potential clients when I'm marketing myself?
    I know project management is the gist of it, but based on the skills I've learned so far and videos that I've watched, I don't think I could manage a whole project for a client. Any advice or links for more examples of how to help a client from scratch? Hope this makes sense lol. Thank s again. :)

      Hey Justin, thanks for the comment! If Asana is on your list of tools to learn so you can offer this to your clients, I would search the "Asana Certified Pro" program. There are lessons and short quizzes that train and test your knowledge on the platform. From a "role" perspective, you could position yourself as a process specialist, Asana expert, business analyst, etc. but each of those have their own specialized training and credentials but there is no shortage of resources out there on any of them.     Do you offer your services to other businesses? I just signed up my team with asana and we are getting things set up and then we find easier ways to do things and have to reset it

    hai marquis I have an organization with its own domain name and 2 members with their own email addresses in my organization. I am in a trial period and after this period I want to keep the options I have now. Customize fields, portfolio, timeline calendar workflow teams create milestone blocks with task forms Templates.
    When I go to teams and click on create a project I see try Timeline Set up workflow Dashboard with premium.
    Which plan should I choose to use all these features with my team? you answered in this video but something went wrong part of what you spoke fell away because of the sound.

      You’ll want to be on the Business plan to keep these features after your plan.

      @@MarquisMurray yes with every step you made in your video I paused the video and got to work in my asana. So I created a project and gave it a name it's public for team members' sections added. Under objectives and backlog, I have put test tasks. The assignee and due date can be seen. I have set a task as milestone 1 for approval I have set a start and end date. Have added fields. Project status assignee etc have given all the status backlog objectives given a status Responsibility entered assignee entered end date it is sorted by objective number. 1st rule added task moved to a certain section todo project status changed to todo Choose when one of these triggers occurs set the project status on todo move task to a certain section todo tested the 1st rule works fine 2nd rule works fine the other rules too. I went to forms and set an image name set everything I want in my form is there. Tested the form and when I look at list under the task name I see my form while 7 days ago it didn't work. 🤣😂 don't know why it didn't work 7 days ago 🤨🤔

    it would be great to have the delete permanently also next to the trashcan icon cause deleting the trashcan one data time to mutch work 🤦‍♀
