      With all due respect, I assume if ARMENIA wants to come out of this crisis, they must look at the situation with all neighbours perspectives rather than theirs. Because Armenian interests involve more involvement in Khankendi and that will drag Armenia down in all charts further more.

    I would like an explanation from Civilnet as to why Eric Hacopian referred to the Armenian province of Syunik By the Azeri term Zangezur

    • @HE-uq1jw
      @HE-uq1jw 3 года назад +2

      That is not correct, Zangezur is not the Azeri term. Zangezur is the name of the mountain range that spans through Syunik Province and Nakhijevan. One possible origin is it comes from the Armenian "Zanga-dzor". I prefer the correct term Syunik as well, but the older generation like Mr. Hacopian and my own father use them interchangeably.

      Сегодня я привез в Шушу бюсты наших выдающихся личностей - Хуршудбану Натаван, Узеира Гаджибекова и Бюльбюля, которые на протяжении порядка 30 лет хранились во дворе Музея искусств в Баку. В этом месте находился Центр культуры Шуши, Дом культуры, и именно здесь стояли бюсты Узеир бека, Бюльбюля. Ненавистный враг разрушил Дом культуры в Шуше и изрешетил бюсты наших выдающихся личностей.
      В церемонии открытия бюста Хуршудбану Натаван летом 1982 года Гейдар Алиев принимал личное участие. И я в то время был здесь с отцом. После того как армяне надругались над бюстами наших выдающихся личностей, они отвезли их в Армению, чтобы переплавить, а затем продать.
      Об этом заявил Президент Азербайджана Ильхам Алиев во время поездки в освобожденный от оккупации город Шушу.
      "Это каким низким человеком надо быть, чтобы изрешетить мемориальные бюсты исторических личностей, надругаться над ними, а затем увезти, чтобы переплавить их", - сказал он.
      Глава государства напомнил, что тогда Полад Бюльбюльоглу узнал об этом и обратился к общенациональному лидеру Гейдару Алиеву.
      "Были приняты меры, в результате они были выкуплены у армян. И я должен открыто сказать о том, что они были выкуплены за деньги. Армяне продали их. Как они обычно делали на протяжении всей своей жизни. Мы купили эти бюсты за деньги. А затем перевезли их и разместили во дворе Музея искусств", - сказал он.
