What are the challenges and economic opportunities in Armenia

- Armenia 2041, an organization co-founded by Noubar Afeyan, Ruben Vardanyan and others has partnered with McKinsey & Co on a report titled “Armenia 2021-2041: A Macroeconomic Diagnostic”. This report traces Armenia’s economy from the last 20 years, and highlights opportunities for growth in important sectors. While the challenges are abundant, the report presents possibilities to achieve a stable economy in the country.
Afeyan and Vardanyan join Tigran Saakyan, McKinsey & Co Partner, as well as Vache Gabrielyan, Dean of the Manoogian Simone College of Business and Economics, for a discussion on the weak and strong points of Armenia’s economy.

Нубар Афеян отметил важный момент о доверии, все эти начинания нельзя реализовать без доверия, причём очень сильного доверия. Постарайтесь ответить на вопрос, доверяем ли мы друг другу, доверяем ли мы властям Армении, в которой предстоит реализовать проекты и стратегию? Где и в чем корень проблем породивших недоверие? Надеюсь ответы на эти вопросы будут найдены при формировании долгосрочной стратегии развития Армении.

Besides the high tech, Armenia needs to work on generating new technologies in physics and energy. Nubar can be the link between MIT and a scientific hub that can he can generate in Armenia.

Second, why didn't you stay behind to help Armenia to grow and develop to be on the level of Eastern European countries? Third , what is the reason you are back? Fourth, did you serve in the Armenian BANAK or you ran away not to serve in one of the military branches.
