When your dad talked about braveness and courage, I'd like to add my two cents on this: I believe in the stage of society we are in today, it is much different to be a ftm than to be a mtf. And by that I mean you're not going to find the same level of acceptance among guys than girls I think. Because when you think about how guys are compared to girls, it's definitely more of a fine line between the two (I'm referring to other guys or girls in society that react to transgenders). Guys are more likely to be like: "ah dude wtf fag you're a girl gtfo". And girls will probably just be more like: "Oh cool, do you wanna paint each other's nails?"

I'm sitting here with a million thoughts going through my head. Over these past few years i've been increasingly questioning with how i see myself. I have a fascination with females. The way they look, the way they talk, the way they act. I have the normal male attraction to them. Romantically and sexually and emotionally. However i constantly find myself wishing i were born a female. I could never transition to one though, nobody in my life would accept it i know my parents. I constantly look in the mirror and can't help but dislike how i look simply because of my physical male features.
