What is that dome on the rear-upper part of the fuselage for? A lot of planes here have it.

Usually it's the WiFi satellite and or live television satellite. Airlines that use cell based WiFi won't have this dome. As you will notice all of Southwest planes has this dome because they use Satellite based Wifi... Some planes will have the dome if it has Live TV.. programming...
