Its actually quite nice to see all these old planes, very rare to see any of those planes nowdays
I like old airlines from my childhood
Love seeing all those gorgeous tri holers. They remain among the most beautiful planes ever made, IMO. No offense to the modern twins, but they just can't compete in the beauty department. The 757 remains the most beautiful of the twins, IMO.
I love the sound of that Northwest 747-200 at 4:00
0:27 god i love the l-1011 so much
Miss the trijets DC10, MD11, L1011, 727
I went to that airport on December 2021 and just about all I saw were a319/20/21s and 737. It`s nice to see all that variety in this video.
3:50 miss that airline, aircraft and Livery.😭😭😭😭
Same - miss Northwest so much!
So many charters running out of LAS. Cool to see all the different liveries.
Nice buzz from that departing ATA TriStar.
My goodness me, look at all those trijets at 1:35; four DC-10s and an interloping 727!
Old is gold
Ehh
Absolutely amazing footage love it so.much thanku much love and god bless x
Long live those fabulous DC-10s. Tall, wide, handsome - miss flying on them so much.
I miss the l-1011 tristar which id one of my favorite planes, and ata airlines also known america trans air ):
Man, I miss those old United colors.
21 years later and most of these planes or airlines no longer fly
19:50 best part.
I love the engine roar on the L10-11 and the DC-10’s
I didn't know Alaska Airlines Had That Type of Aircraft Before: 0:09
I really love the trijets!!
Tri-jet paradise right there.
I was 18 then. Memories
Booked many people on Sun Country charters from Denver using MLT Vacations
OMG COO
I was really surprised to see all those Omni DC10s. Were those used for military transport? I wonder what route the Northwest 747 flew from/to LAS. Does anyone know?
The NWA 747s were probably flying to Asia mostly Japan but I could be wrong.
Omni had (and I think still has) scheduled Hawaii flights out of LAS, so that’s likely what these DC10s were operating. The NW 747 I believe was some sort of charter - not sure which. They definitely didn’t have scheduled 747 service at LAS. I’d have to dig - but could probably find out!
00:34 keep pushing, keep pushing, keep pushing...theeere you go!
same at 6:50, these planes really didn’t want to leave Vegas
Where did NWA fly to from Vegas with a 747?
They'd fly nonstop to NRT. Service lasted a few years until 9/11.
LISTEN TO THAT SOUND!!
8:46
