Painting A Squirrel Making Rocket Salad - From My Amazing Class On Character Design

Hello dear artists!
As well as my on-location sketching classes, I teach a fun class on character design, once a week. I always use animals from my local area as my subjects, because I am strangely drawn to them. I cannot explain why, for the life of me! It's something to do with their being wild, free, of the universe, as I am...see what I mean? I can't explain it!
So I take their magnificence and glory and I turn them into very strange little drawings. I love to cook and eat good food, so I combine these elements and - voilà! Animal Chefs is born.
I do these crazy but very fun classes with my Deluxe members - you too CAN join in - once a week, more or less. (We do other things too, but I think we all like this theme the best.) In yesterday's class we ran out of time to do the painting part so I am sharing it here for them, principally, since they have the drawing part done in class - but for you too.
It is full of tips for using watercolour and the fact that it's a playful subject means you won't be worried about some kind of Grand Result.
