In a world where dragons were thought to be extinct, somehow a clutch of eggs survived. Now hatched, the siblings must struggle to thrive in a harsh world that doesn’t seem to want them there. Worse yet, they have attracted the attention of an evil presence that has begun to stalk them…
In Flame & Fang, players will have to manage the three different aspects of their dragon: the need to fight, the desire for flight, and the thirst for the hunt. Each turn players will draw and play cards that will let them fly around the board, gather resources, upgrade abilities, battle enemies, and turn new pages to reveal their story.
During the game, 1-4 players will cooperate to guide a group of dragons through a series of adventures. Players will each control their own dragon to navigate the chapters that continue the tale of how the dragons will grow, mature, and overcome obstacles. The game requires deck crafting, hand management, action selection, and cooperative planning to ensure success!

5.0 - My absolutely favorite games. You can pry them out of my cold dead hands.
4.5 - Love this game! At the same time missing something that would make it a 5. Could be hard to table, lacking variability, a little light, etc.
4.0 - Really great game, almost always keeping, although has meaningful complaints as to what takes away from the experience.
3.5 - Really enjoyed, don't love it, may lose out to better games but the idea of never playing again is a bit sad.
3.0 - A good game, would play and suggest with the right people, if I never played it again wouldn't lose any sleep.
2.5 - A game I'd play again , but will never suggest it myself
    2.0 - A game I don't want to play again
    1.5 - A game I can't find any reason to recommend
1.0 - A game that is just bad.

Shelf Clutter piqued my interest in Flame & Fang. I love that I can find out about crowdfunded games on his channel and then come over here for an opinion. Great partnership!

I appreciated this review, but I’m not sure about the conclusion. I’ve noticed that reviewers tend to have a warped sense of repetitiveness, because they often need to binge play a game in order to review it. The way I play games, I don’t think I’d even notice the issue raised here.

I know I enjoyed each play. I like how having a base deck eases you into each chapter. And it allows the market cards you do get to sparkle and shine when you get them.

I wish the cards had more art or at least more colour. I really don't like all the white in the middle

Am I the only one that thinks that card design is ugly?
