I was at the Rock Fest in Cadott in '95 and '96. Back then it was awesome. Just 30000 partiers in a huge ass field in the middle of Wisconsin with 4 days of great music. Not the same anymore.
Hard to believe later on he cut his long Hair! I finally started growing mine back in 2017, when I became disabled and could no longer work, it's been almost 4 years now and I'm in my 60's, it's gonna grow till I croak, GOD willing!
The best fuckin era was the 90’s he was at his prime, hell at 73 the ol boy still kicks everyone’s ass on stage! God Bless Uncle Ted Fuckin Nugent!
Best era was the last couple of years with the Amboy Dukes all the way to scream dream...after that the nudge wasn't that huge.... should have stuck with Derek st Holmes..nudge always rocks thou!!

@@user-tx3zx2yf8hThey still play together at times . If you look on RUclips here there was a video of them not all that long ago where both of them were playing together on stage . Even though they both ended up going different directions they always seem to get back together on certain tours. They've been friends for a long time going way back even though Ted accidentally shot Derek 2 times Derek was saying . I do agree that the best music was when the both of them were on stage and in the recording studio.

Didn't make it to Cadott until 1999 but the set up for RockFest was amazing, better than anything in the UK at the time. Download doesn't match the crazy days of Monsters of Rock at Donington. Sweden Rock is the best festival in recent years.

Larry love, I know Ted's probably your boyfriend and all that, but there are plenty of people "better". Yes, he's an excellent guitarist (though not the best), but some of his songs are absolutely appalling...... 2 or 3 chords and a "chorus" which is often just singing, nay - SAYING, the title 4 times! They sound like they took all of 15 seconds to write! If you disagree and feel so strongly, then fine - put your money where your mouth is! Sue me, and we'll let a court jury decided if there is indeed nobody "better"!
@@davidwatson9755 Hay yoke, I think that you might not understand great guitar playing. Just ask his contemporaries, like the great Steve Morse of deep purple. Nugent was his biggest influence. In fact Morris wanted to record a second influence album/CD on Nugent as his biggest INFLUENCE!! GO BACK IN YOUR HOLE!!
