I've never seen a more perfect interview. Ted Nugent is intelligent, articulate, and charismatic. He visited my precinct a few years ago because he was in town and wanted to show his support for law enforcement. No media, no cameras, except for the pictures we took with him. Here's how Nugent should quickly and easily end debates with people like Piers Morgan. First off, ask Piers how familiar they are with the practice of hunting for entertainment. Next ask them what they would rather prefer in this given situation.
Situation: A lunatic breaks into your house in the middle of the night with a gun (one he got illegally cause he doesn't care that guns are banned). Or even for the sake of argument, a legal weapon like a knife, sword, blunt object, ETC. Your (insert loved one) is all alone. Would you rather they:
A) Standing by your views, are unarmed, and subjected to calling 911 which has a national response time of 10 minutes, hoping that they get there before the lunatic who is already in the house hurts them.
B) They have a firearm on them. They call 911 as well. Best case scenario they yell at the lunatic informing them they called the police and have a gun and if needed they fire a warning shot. The attacker panics and leaves. Worst case, the victim engages in a shootout, giving the victim a better chance of surviving. Or the lunatic attacks with a non firearm weapon and fails miserably.
Last but not least, they made the 2nd amendment so we could keep our government in check from being tyrannical. Not because (we like to hunt and guns are cool to shoot).

I come back to this video about once a year just to see Uncle Ted SLAY Piers Morgan and CNN. Whether you like Ted Nugent or not, there's absolutely no denying that the man is sharp, quick on his feet, and is very knowledgeable when it comes to topics regarding firearms and the Second Amendment.

My Nephew, who I love as the son I never had, served 2 years of his life in Iraq.I hugged him when he left,..a person with his name came back but he is gone. and will never return.the young man that he was...the man he should have been was wasted.he does not talk so much. he lives his life. Before knowing much about Nugent, I just assumed he was a gun toating, alt right nutbar.

Everyone who watches this more likely than not likes Ted. Many folks say alot of things about him. I give him credit for being knowledgeable about what he talks / debates about. Wacky sounding, over-talking, even slightly pompous, all true. Also true, knowledgeable, honest, straight-shooting truth speaker who doesn't back away from confrontation from those who disagreeing with his beliefs and morals. I respect that in people- maybe more than all else. Folks, real people are getting very hard to find these days, I appreciate real. I maybe don't agree with every single thing he says, but I do want more like him. It would be a better world if there were more of his kind.

What he says about people abusing welfare is 10000% accurate. Last year I was in a tough spot and where I live they have a program tht helps with rent if you need. I applied and was denied because I made too much money the YEAR PRIOR. The year prior I was making 16 an hr. However my neighbor that told me about the program have been to Jamaica twice in the past 4 yrs because that program has been paying his rent that whole time, and still is.needy people dont get assistance in this country because lowlife scammers are taking it all.
I got hit with the same stick. I didn't get benefits because I won money in a poker tournament 10 months prior that all went to paying debts, backed up rent so I didn't end up homeless (thank the lord for the old lady who rents this place and was and still is very sympathetic and and understanding, didn't even accept any extra when I offered it to her as apology for being a bad tenant) and fixing my POS car so I could make it road legal and insure it. I had every receipt and every transaction signed and on paper that told them EXACTLY where every penny from that money went and I was working in a little metal shop and made $15/h. I was oblivious to the system until I needed it to help me and they gave me a resounding "get lost."

Piers argument is that because a person was allowed to acquire arms who should not have been able to, we should stop all law abiding citizens from being armed.
For the question of why he did not serve can not be judged completely fairly from the way it is asked or even the responses in the comments.
