Piers, even though I answered your question about why anyone needs an AR15, I will tell you this. They are allowed to have an AR15 for any and every reason they want (other than shooting innocent people or shooting at things they aren't allowed to shoot). Just like you may divorce your spouse or fire your employees for any and every reason you want or how some people think women should be allowed to have an abortion for any and every reason they want. So quite frankly, there is no rule that says anybody has to tell you why they deserve AR15s. If anyone decides to tell you why, that's just them being kind. You're kinda lucky, because there is no rule saying anyone has to tell you why they buy AR15s. Quite frankly, nearly and and every reason is acceptable.
