Hi Robbie, many thanks for sharing another one of your great videos mate. Hope and and family are well mate. Love your videos.takes my mind off medical junk 😂
G'day Robbie good to see a few dopey yabbies are keen for game but as the weather warms up as you know they'll be on the bite for real. Great content as always, thanks mate🐟
How good venison 😁 recently got my first deer. Also doin a road trip this weekend canberra through to Melbourne beautiful piece of country that you live in
@@robbiefishing driving through Glenrowan they had an RBT 🤣 still looking for Ned I think. Also every creek and river I passed I'm like wonder if Robbie has fished it LOL

Mate, if you ever come to the US of A, swing by Utah, I can take you to Strawberry Reservoir. In 2 hours I've caught 200 yabbies and that's pretty normal. I don't know why there are millions and millions in that one lake.
Hey Robbie just recently put some nets in the creek and caught a dozen small yabbies for an adventure at Waranga basin however not a single shrimp was caught, were we unlucky or is it still to cold you reckon
Hi mate, still too early for shrimp I reckon. In my area I don't usually see too many until November. I do have placed where I can get them in October. I've never caught them this early though.
You need to suspend your baits Robbie. Most of the yabbies are eating the bait from the outside of the net. You'll get way more if you suspend the bait
Quick question Rob totally non fishing related or yabby for that matter just wondering who ya backing in the Grand final today? AFL that is and I know it's two non Melbourne teams lol but still
Hi mate, I don't really follow the footy. I used to follow Collingwood as a kid but I lost interest 30 years ago. I will always have a soft spot for the magpies.
I find with those traps its good to suspend the bait using a couple of zip ties so it stays central and the dont just eat the bait from outside the cage.. bring on the Yabbying Robbie.. great video still. Instant thumbs up
@@theshadyspot9932 I use string to tie into the middle of the trap, whatever trap I use. Good point. Pyramids are another that the yabs sit outside and pick if you do not suspend the bait. One of my vids explains me doing this.

Was about to go comment on your previous video asking when there’d be some more yabbying videos! i was pleasantly surprised to see this upload!
Thanks so much mate. They've slowly started moving, but we need some more warm weather to really fire them up.
Was thinking that dam would be popular with the ducks, they love some water plants. Great thumbnail too
Thanks mate. Yep, there were ducks there when I put the nets in and when I checked them. 👍👍

Woo hooo, yabbie season is coming!
They seem bigger than the crayfish we have on North America.

is the short and stumpy rod good for simple bait fishing ma have one short and one tall rod
