Somehow it's a win-win strategy since they're just gonna give a cent or a dollar discount however, if your dedicated enough to collect coupons then get a total of 100dollars discount not bad right?

      I believe it's not the store that suffers from these coupons but the vendors. If, lets say the person went in and brought $100 worth of BBQ sauce but only paid $80, it's the BBQ sauce company who pays the $20 difference to the supermarket. At least that's how it normally works when you go in to a store on a random day and saw that the product you're buying has a reduced price. I'm not too sure about the procedure when it comes to manufacture coupons; i assume it's the same.

      Periodicals, newspapers and individual grocery store chains print weekly coupons that come to your house if in the local newspaper, and are available at the entrance to each store. Many stores now also have "clipless coupons" which are connected to a customer loyalty card, which when presented and scanned by the cashier, deducts money from your total. There are even perks for buying any item in the vegetable or meat departments, or spending a minimum amount in one trip often comes with a discount for the entire transaction.

      I've been on a register when folks buy with coupons. Actually, it can be a lot of fun, just seeing what the total will be. The cashier gets paid the same, and if the customer has a good, pleasant experience, you've got someone who will shop there again with or without coupons.

      I think that they had a ton of guests because of how much food they bought. Also the clip of the wedding made it look like there were hundreds at the venue.

      I agree. However there was one episode where it was the couponer’s daughter’s 12th birthday party - Maryann was the couponer name - and it was centred entirely around Maryann (‘coupon’ was the theme)… I didn’t particularly like that one, Maryann was very full of herself and especially when she made her daughter’s party all about her

    I haven’t watched the whole video but I already know it’s way better than the extreme cheapskates woman who made her daughter buy a wedding dress for 75 bucks with rat pee on it and had the wedding in a high school. There are ways to do things cheaply and in style!

    • @stephaniespragg5586
      @stephaniespragg5586 Год назад +1

      The same mum from Extreme Cheapskates took part in So Freakin’ Cheap and when she did her other daughter got married. $750 was the budget this time around. A medical office was the venue and the dress from Extreme Cheapskates was reused, with alterations. It’s also established that the mum has a husband and their penny pinching ways include using a tennis racket as a colander. (Unfortunately the full episode isn’t available, this was what I learned from the clips on RUclips)
