as a car fan myself I think that maybe why some younger people think cars 2 is the best is bc we grew up with that movie (born in 08) and it was the first cars movie I watched and I thought all the spy stuff seemed so cool and also with the fight scene towards the end seemed so cool and idk if a lot of people think that maybe just me
same heere, cars 2 was the first movie i ever watched in cinemas (also born in '08) and grew up with most of the merch from that era.
while its not the best of the three, it holds a special place in my heart.
About Cars 3, there's some things things I'd like to point out as both a Cars and Nascar fan. Cruz subbing in is legal, as of Texas spring 2007, Dale Jr wrecked out earlier in the race, which his car couldn't get back on track, Kyle Busch ended up wrecking, left the track, but his car got repaired. Without Kyle Busch in the track, they got Dale Jr. to sub in for the No.5 car for the remainder of the race. In Cruz's case, what she was doing would be considered subbing in for McQueen, as McQueen has decided to stop running for the remainder of the race.
And also, Tex owning Rusteze and Dinoco doesn't really count for the same team, they may share similarities after it, but they are mainly sponsors, sponsors can be "owned" by an owner in motorsports, like Nascar. Hendrick Motorsports has NAPA, Axalta, Ally, etc. A win from Alex Bowman can help the sponsor(s), and the team too. I won't get into full detail with it because, I admit, I don't have the best 100% knowledge on this topic, but it can run similarly in the Cars universe as I'm aware of.
All 3 of these movies have something special for them. Even Cars 2 and 3 are amazing despite a nitpick or two

Cars is so popular that even Rascal Flatts' "Life is a Highway" from the 1st movie is sometimes played on the radio.

I grew up with this franchise and needless to say I really like all three movies. In fact, I think Cars 2 is actually better than most of the modern Pixar films.

I know we had conversations with you opinions, I'm so happy you get to share your thoughts with the rest of the world. From your hilarious one-liners, to summarizing the films, while giving your opinions on how you saw each movie were amazing. Excellent work bro, I know you put in a lot of work on this one and it truly shows.
I like that my ratings for the films slightly differ from yours, it creates conversation for all of us to talk and give our opinions.
25:12 25:13 25:14 Mater shoots up the entire Casino. Which if I can honestly say the most coolest scene ever and when the lemons got their weapons out I was like oh shoot Mater’s doom but when he got out his Gatling Guns and started shooting everywhere.. The lemons all panicked and cowardly hide they didn’t want any of that smoke.

Lightning wanted to win, but after Mater left with Finn & Holley, he realized that he done messed up & started to feel guilty for getting mad @ Mater.

Not only did lightning McQueen get radiator Springs back on the map in the movie, but the movie itself got the actual real route 66 back on the map.
Im very happy that i grew up with this franchise i really love these movies the video games and cars land. I remember during the day when cars 3 came out i woke up early around 6:30 and started playing cars 1 the videogame because i was very excited for that movie and it was worth it! This franchise is like a part of my life and im glad to be alive with it. KACHOW!!! ⚡️

Cars is an all around great children/family movies that’s gotten way too much hate for a long time; I’m glad people are finally coming around to it. Sure, it may not be as “sophisticated” as some of Pixar’s other movies, but it’s well animated, entertaining, funny, has a great soundtrack, fun characters, and a great, timeless message. Definitely in my top 10 favorite movies of all time.
For real, I feel like most people just hate on Cars 3 and hype up Cars 2 because of nostalgia and it’s the cool thing to do now in the Cars fanbase. I haven’t heard many legitimate reasons why Cars 2 is better, other than “NoStAlGuH” or pRiMe McGoAt”. Personally, my life was in a horrible place (aka high school lol) when Cars 3 came out, so I have absolutely no nostalgia bias towards it, but I still think it’s a pretty good movie.

Here’s my ranking of the the trilogy
Cars: 10/10 I believe it’s the best of the trilogy
Cars 2: 5/10 had potential, and I do like some of the elements of the movie like mostly The World Grand Prix, and some of the spy action scenes but for the rest of the film it’s….chaotic
Cars 3: 8/10 Could’ve have some parts be better, but it’s a much better sequel to the first film.

48:14 NASCAR Team Owners can run up to four cars. Mcqueen and Cruz racing for the same company is TOTALLY legal. As long as there are no more than four. Roush Racing used to have 5 cars, until NASCAR told them that only four cars are allowed per team.

Ima be honest as someone who watched all three movies all the tall tales and collected almost every piston cup racer and NextGen. I can safely say that cars as a franchise. It had its ups and downs. Part of me wish that the movie could’ve ended with the first movie and that’s it, but the third movie release showed that they actually give a crap that they wanted to at least fix the series for longtime fans basically what I’m saying is that the first and third movie are at its peak in my opinion and also I don’t get why people started hating on cars 3 and loved cars 2. Like cars three isn’t bad or horrendous the only thing bad I could say about cars three is the jokes and Miss fritter at first when I watched the movie I thought her design was pretty cool and I wanted to get like a toy car of her but now looking at the design yeah it’s pretty goofy as hell not gonna lie I don’t plan to get Miss fritter, to be honest but point is, is that cars two isn’t a bad film, but it has its moments here and there especially when lightning McQueen was roasting Francesco 💀 but other than that cars two is basically a bad film but it’s not as bad as son of the mask or turning red. Also, with cars three ending I think it’s a good way to end off McQueen arc if I’m gonna be honest like honestly when I watched it the first time even thinking about it now it doesn’t really feel rushed. I feel like they had a good amount of time to Pull off the ending but the deleted scene it’s not bad like I do like lightning McQueen races for dinoco something he always dreamed about when he was a rookie but lightning McQueen winning over Jackson storm. It just feels like fan service. Don’t get me wrong. It’s awesome that lightning McQueen can win over Jackson storm but not only that’s not logical since Jackson storm is way faster than McQueen, but it feels like they just want to satisfy people saying that “lightning McQueen isn’t getting old. He wins over Jackson storm. He still the best car but he’s done racing because he’s going to pass down the torch to Cruz Ramirez” like it genuinely feels like fan service if you ask me. And that’s like basically saying if fast and furious just does street racing and only street racing for the rest of the franchise like don’t get me wrong. I love the first tree Fast and Furious movies but I’m kind of glad that they take a new route just because they want to do something different. Basically I’m just saying that the ending is good the way it is although I do like the deleted scene a little bit. The ending really shows that McQueen has a new purpose in life and like Tex said there’s a whole Lotta more to racing then just winning. But honestly, this video was pretty good. I agree with, but some I didn’t agree as you can see but I was a pretty nice essay good luck in your next vid man.
Cars 1 is just total perfection man, like I don't know why but this movie always gives me joy and the courage of trying to be a better person and enjoy the small things in life, an 11/10 a true classic in my eyes, one of my favorite movie ever, *It's cinema!!!*
Cars 2 is.......=/....... a movie that exist... yeah. But either way loved the concept of racing around the world and Francesco is one of my favorite characters but the spy shit and the executions of the story is what kills this movie saddly. 2/10 •~•
And Cars 3, is a movie that I really appreciate that exist, I like this movie but I have a lot of problems with mainly two things: Cruz Ramírez and the ending. Let's start with Cruz; I like her, she's a well written character and very charming, but when I saw all those deleted scenes like: The Boggie wogie, jars of dirt and the bolt; and to an extended More than new paint made me fall in love with the character, she truelly feel like a Cars 1 character. The amouth of depth, flaws and charm that version of Cruz had was just simply amazing and that aspect of she being a *Super* fan of Mcqueen was a really sweet toch, a detail that I always forget about it, like it's soo dificult for her to insult Mcqueen in the original beach scene, it was hilarious and in a strange way, if this was the movie and we had the same ending that we got I wouldn't mind as much.
However, I still Don't like the ending more than a new paint was the definition of perfection and satisfying. Seeing Mcqueen race and win the race with Doc's colors is just fantastic and the symbolism of him doing the one thing that Hud coudn't do which was race one more time means soo much man. Like yeah, even with all that Cars 3 is good, not great not outstanding just okay.. 7/10

The first 2 were Masterpieces, but Cars 3 is far worse, not only being a generic comeback story, but also most of the new characters (except Cruz and the Legends) are not very interesting.
