2 videos in one week, blessed. Nice one Matt!
Been going to Big Wong since I was a kid, fantastic food there!
Dang man you have toned up. Looking great. Congrats! Love the vids.
Good to see you back Matt!
At first I thought your videos were to negative. But one and a half years later i’m addicted to your videos and I am always looking forward to see more content. I like your choice of restaurants and enjoy your critical reviews.
Mate, I’ve been watching you for a while now, you deserve much more views! If you ever come to Sapporo/Hokkaido Japan, let me take you for a great Soup Curry (local specialty) or Jinguskan (lamb bbq, also a local specialty).
Thanks!
Good review Matt.... different, in a good way!
Your Beef Chong Funn (chinese beef rice crepe) appetizer, only takes around 2-3 minutes to steam cook in a chinese restuarant, so it's not surprising that it would come out fast.
YAYYY! new video😁
Been to Big Wong plenty of times. You have good taste.
I been eating at Big Wong for over 40 years... never ordered their lobster.. LOL
miss your videos man! hope to see an upload soon!
hi matt did not know you do foodie channel i always see your other channel. big wong been there long time my mom fav for rice poridge.
If anyone is wondering where to find that gorgeous mural behind him in the opening shot, he is crossing Canal street and Lafeyette
Great video boss
the seafood platter at gallagher's steak house in nyc is top tier
I love a good Peking duck. I went to a Chinese restaurant very close to the Charging Bull in the financial district in Manhattan that had good Duck, but the rice there was legendary. The cured pork in it was so good, I said that I'd just order rice the next time I went. I forget the name of the place, but you immediately walk up a flight stairs once you get inside, near the Bull. I though it was good. There was a great hot pot place in midtown, and a great soup dumplings at Tim Ho Wan. Lots of good Asian food in NYC. I'd love to come back just for a restaurant tour, but so much is closed or has changed since Covid, I want to wait until it's thriving again. Club A steakhouse is my favorite place on earth, the owner is so generous and accommodating I could spend every night there, but I think it's still not open. :( I love seafood too, (Hence me subscribed to your channel) but me with beef is like you with seafood. I looooove a great steak. If I die from eating too much red meat, let it be known that I lived a good life, haha.
They have the best juk, the yee mein is good and the beef noodle is good. Also their ribs are the best.
Big Wong Lobster special. 2 for $35. Can't go wrong. It was nice. Good Duck too.
have you tried the sushi at sushi by bou or sushi by bae yet?
When will we get cuba video?
Wow😱you know Cantonese 👍🏻 I come from Hk
Dying for new videos please Matt.
How long does that chicken lay there before it turns black? :-)
Grade pending!!!!! Must be great food.
U don't post anymore? :'(
Try going to Flushing , NY -that's the new Chinatown 2.0
Yep, I’ve been 👍🏼
Hell yeah I love real chinese food
New video please!
That was a really good deal. why so cheap i wonder?
No longer that Nikon guy??
not that much seafood but good
bro is this dude married
shut yo dumb ass up
Sorry the chefs didn't leave Hong Kong in 1997, the Chinatown in NYC was always really good. Big Wong has been there over 30 years, also big Wongs fame is for their bbq stuff and congee not seafood! Lol I'm glad you liked their food but for seafood you need to go to the restaurants with the fish tanks and live fish swimming in them. Lobster is not a hallmark of good seafood lol every single restaurant in NYC has lobster.
Hey hi ,,If its ok to ask ,,can you be kind enough to give 1-3 suggestions on what you consider excellent Cantonese seafood restaurants in nyc China Town please, since I'm a pesceterian, it'll be greatly appreciated, thanks .
Big Wong does have good food, especially their famous duck, but it’s also known for horrible service and relatively steep price (Chinatown standard).
Do they all speak English?
Holy Jesus half a duck is an appetizer? I eat that for a couple of meals with rice
Nope, about 1/4. $8 smallest serve they offer.
@@worldsbestseafood4784 thank you for personal response and thank you for making all the videos. I've been following you for a long time.
That wasn’t alligator feet but turtle feet
