Severn Valley Railway - Spring Steam Gala 2019

- Action from day one of gala featuring a majority GWR feel with former branchline stars on display. Just two of visiting engines feature in this video due to the brief failure of the LNWR Coal Tank 1054, the other non inclusion was Pannier Tank 6430 which I was unable to catch due to clashing with other important workings on the timetable. The two main stars of the gala were GWR Large Prairie 4144, courtesy of the Great Western Preservation Society and GWR heavy goods tank engine 5619 courtesy of Telford Horeshay Steam Trust. The homefleet were also in action and we also capture the recently overhauled Standard 4 in the form of 75069.
A decent day's action on the Severn Valley but a big loss not having the coal tank available. Other good news is that GWR 4144 is due to stay at the SVR for the coming months. I hope you enjoy the video. Авто/Мото

Hi Liam 🙋🏻. This was wonderfully atmospheric , enjoyed every second , Thank you ☺️. 🚂💕
Very very enjoyable
Greatly enjoyed, thank you, with superbly atmospheric captures at well chosen locations. All wonderful, but I particularly enjoyed the bark of 7802 in the opening shots and seeing 75069 so well turned out. Yet another triumph! Kind regards, Bob.
Congratulations Liam for finding such stunning locations, ans producing another superb video.

super video
Great collection of shots and thanks for sharing Cheers Richard
I’ve went there to see 75069 and few visiting engines Liam
I love an SVR video I haven't yet seen. However, one of the fleet is still missing. When will 7819 Hinton Manor reappear? I miss her because she's one of my favourite Manor engines. She may only be a sister to me, but we're all longing to see her again. If anyone could shed any light on when 7819 will return and stay home, I'd be grateful.
There I am front window on Bradley manor going up Eardington bank with the maroon mk1’s 😂😂
01:42 That's a strangely, er, human sound, if you get what I mean.
Suspect I was on that run with 7802 up the bank. Was really opened up going through the cutting above the station and then eased right back towards the crossing at the summit.
very nice. well done, sir.....
Quite beautiful! I love the two shots of the Pannier at 9:10 and the closing shot of the Manor at Eardington.
Great filming! 75069 looks great!

@@MarshSteamVideosTM Thank you so much. I have a channel called SVR Steam and I'm trying to get better clearer footage.
I thought steam engines are no longer usable
They are still useable
They are if restored to full working condition with a few modifications to comply with today’s safety standards of course
