      Nakia Wilson pitbulls got bad names because of bad owners.

    • @konczk
      @konczk 6 лет назад +8

      That is so not true. There is a reason they have been banned in most countries, it is because they are genuinely dangerous. Just because you got lucky with a non-aggressive pit, doesn't mean the breed overall isn't a huge risk. Almost every dog attack that you hear of, especially if it's lethal, involves a pitbull or staffi. There have been three deaths in Germany in just one week, involving this breed and they were the owners, not even some random stranger.

    • @konczk
      @konczk 6 лет назад +2

      I read that something like seventy percent of dog attack deaths in the US are from pitbulls, despite the fact they are only 5 percent of the dog population. Another 14 percent are Rottweilers. The remaining 16 percent are all the other hundreds of dog breeds combined. Those are not odds I'd be comfortable with, especially where there are children involved.

      It is truly sad that you all believe sensational media. That is the only reason BSL is allowed to flourish. No one in support of pit bull BSL ever owned a pit bull, nor had direct experience with one. I have 4 pit bulls and they all work as therapy dogs and in reading programs with little kids. Saying they're wonderful is an understatement!

    cool man, keep it up and if the pulling doesnt stop, try the backpack. It works. Take em out of his yard too. Thats not really doing much. The dog needs to see and experience runner, joggers, other dogs, cats, squirrels, etc... The goal is to have your dog off leash in a very high distraction area's, while being calm and under complete control. Dont forget to socialize the dog heavily. It is a must with these dogs. A must.

    Now I love them! They are so loyal and that is what gives them the capacity to be so bad and so good. They reflect their humans very well from that place of love and loyalty.

    • @CarlosXXI

      It's not a matter of being hard or soft. It's a matter of knowledge.

    • @DougHinVA
      @DougHinVA 5 лет назад +2

      MS : you'll get assumptions, but you are right... 'too soft' is not a personal judgement, but an assessment of many owners who are unwilling to take training seriously and consistently and doing what the particular dog needs. Each breed was developed for a reason and a toy poodle is not like a Rottweiler. Police and military handlers use Belgian Malinois or German Shepherd Dog (GSD) for a reason. A dog is a lower animal and should be handled like an animal with certain needs specific to the breed and individual dog. Pay attention to the dog's welfare and not people's "feelings".... MS nailed it in a blunt way.

    Yes, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Cesar has a lot of pitbulls in his pack of dogs that he has at his dog psychology center, and they are well mannered, well disciplined, and calm. It is only when an owner does not give their dog discipline and leadership that they turn out to be so aggressive. This can be said for any dog; if you give your dog the proper exercise, boundaries, and limitations, any dog can be a perfect dog.

    This episode reminds me of the good in people and animals....people sometimes forget that animals(especially dogs) have emotions too. I am sure that gotti was extremely sad when his owner died. The only thing I don't agree with cesar on is the intelligence level of dogs....I think they are much of what he says and respond well to his techniques, but they are intelligent on a level we don't understand.

      Bel Mum yeah.. it’s a hard one with prong collars, I don’t think I personally agree with them. I think they are quite bad I think that now a day there’s different ways of getting through to your dog when walking your dog if he/she are pulling forward. I personally don’t like neck collars and prefer harness because dogs can become quite fearful and threatened with the tight strangle sensation around their neck from their collar x

    • @lexburen5932
      @lexburen5932 4 года назад

      @@dacookoosnest its only used to have more control over the dog, so that handling is easier for training. In this case : rules boundaries and limitations. Once that dog has that, the prong collar can be replaced with a normal one. Those things are never meant to be a forever thing

    whats up man. 2x things. who said to leave them alone with kids? i would never do that and i dont do that with my son. second, pitbulls make great family pets because of their temperment, patient, and stability. He's more stocky with a big ol block head. I adopted him from a pit breeder about 2 years ago and the previous owner told me that my dog, gotti, is a "Colby pit". I just wanted to know their background and lineage. He's a WONDERFUL dog, loyal as hell, never once growled at me or my kids, and just the BEST damn dog I have EVER had in my life!!! His wife never liked dogs and after he made some money on dog whisperer she divorced him and took most of everything. He got the divorce papers completely by surprise. Also if you watch episodes of when he was married, he speaks and jokes a lot about _issues with wives._ You can tell she didn't treat him right. His relationship with his kids was strained because they saw an ugly side of him through the divorce. NatGeo left him with $0.00 for the show. And his dog Daddy died. His family was gone and he was completely broke all over again. For Cesar family is the most important thing to him so he overdosed and told his son to _let him die so he can go be with Daddy._ It was all one big mess.
      In rehab he got a sense of love back in his life because there were patients there that didn't want the therapists help but they wanted Cesars😅
      I'm summing the whole thing up very briefly from what I remember but he spoke about it a lot of times you can easily find his life story and interviews and stuff.✌🏼
      But he is happy now. He's got a relationship with a wonderful lady Jahira, she's so sweet and has this amazing feminine energy about her, she loves helping with the dogs as well. His relationships with his kids are great, and his kids have their own shows. They do a family segment on you tube as well as tour the world together. He's also getting a show back on NatGeo with a better contract. And he has a booming dog psychology center. He found a new love for birds, And all other pack oriented animals including Llamas😂 He has an amazing connection with his parrot they're like two peas in a pod.
      Also yes... I'm a big fan of his🤣😭✌🏼

I have seen and watcht this before , no good owner .i saw the dogs eyes and seen the body . i was thinking that dog is gonna bite . i was saying this to the owner "'' watch out youré dog is gonna bite ,owner oooh no this dog doens's bite """" Yes than a few secconds later i was glad that the dog was biting in a bag and not in a humans arm or leg . owner was sying or asking at the dog :what ws that , what are you doing . Other people where glad that i'm already sad it to the owner and look at the dog how it was accting later . and they where helping the owner to save the human and dog as well . please look for a dog who you handle and do this after the first week and also specialy at the begining when you got youré dig . thank you , and afcourse not many dogs who are killed anymore for mistakes from owners !!!!

    The Dangerous Dogs Act was introduced in the early 1990s. So logically, as breeding Pit Bulls is not possible due to the requirement to neuter, the breed is supposed to be dying out in England. So your dog may be the result of illegal pitbulls. I was just saying, no need to get so snappy.
