I'm starting learning this beautiful language on Aug 26th at 01:48. Thk so much Fedor for this magnificent channel. It has been totally useful. grretings from Venezuela
I'm generally reluctant to watch videos that feature Fedor speaking Russian, because it reminds me I have a long journey ahead of me. Don't be like me. Don't compare yourself to another speaker, that does no good. Just keep going, no matter what. One day, Fedor and I may have a conversation in Russian, who knows? In the meantime, I'm preparing for it by using the BeFluent lessons, speaking to my coffee table, practicing as much as I can, listening to Russian radio, and writing things down. I want to be ready, in case he calls me...
Well, if you have the funds, you can join BeFluent Class at the Ultimate level. 49.99/month. But one of the perks of it is private calls from Fedor himself with you. I did that for the 30-Day Speaking Challenge. And it helped me a LOT! My skills exploded thanks to it.
Speaking to your coffee table? 😆 I haven’t heard of this technique, but I will try it! I do agree these videos can be a reminder of how far we have to go before we fully understand Russian, but they’re also a great learning tool, and I’m going to come back here in a month or two and see how much more I can understand. Hopefully I will progress. I hope you do too. And maybe even your (fluent Russian) coffee table! 😅
Fedor, thank you for making these videos. They have really assisted me in my Russian studies. Special thanks to your spouse her support and patience in assisting you create these wonderful learning resources for Russian students.
@@Natashanjka yeah, there is a feature called "subtitles" in youtube, where you can add those to your video and the watcher choose if he wants to activate them or not
@@giaochan504 come on, I know about subtitles 😄😄😄 My question wasn't about them. I asked you if you like such kind of videos exactly with dialogues. Or you meant, that you like videos with subtitles?
@@Natashanjka oh sorry, yes i like dialogues, it makes me feel interested in their conversation, also is simple enough for me to understand almost 60% of what they say
@@giaochan504 okay, good. Btw, you aren't the first who likes such videos with dialogues. That gave me an idea to film something like that with my boyfriend for my subscribers.
I love this new format! Unfortunately I found the background music distracting, and would have understood the conversation better without it. Keep up the good work!
Dear Fedor❣ At first, thanks for sharing and caring with your educational videos. But I got another question: why do Russians give their children named Aleksander/ Oleksander/ Aleksandra/ Oleksandra the nickname "Sasha"? I had a Russian bestie named Alexandra as a child and she called herself "Sasha", too. But why that name? Nevertheless... Love the funny conversation between Alexander "Sasha" Kotlyarov and you,
Aside from aliases any name can be changed in variety of ways (dozens if not hundreds). In that sense Russian is extremely versatile and gives you countless number of options to express your feeling about a person.
@@lucytupper69 for close people, of course, they can also call Vova, but it is generally customary to call adults by their first name and patronymic Vladimir Vladimirovich
Lav mics incoming next time we record! Thank you for all your feedback and advice:)

You need to re-record this with proper mikes.
I love this kind of content, the fact that you can choose if you want to watch the video with or without the subtitles is a big plus

Thank you! 😊
Fedor can you please make more of these conversation videos? Thank you!!

Great! I hope there will be more conversations like this
Also, it's a good idea for my future videos. If Russian learners love such content, I will also plan to make something like this for my subscribers.
These types of videos are so helpful! But like others said, it was much harder to understand because of the audio/echo-y sound :/
Any chance a video call with you from London 🇬🇧?
Learning this beautiful language over a year now alone and your videos have been very helpful
That makes me feel I need your course because I wanna understand better- on the wish list:)
Good luck with your Russian!
this is good for people who have B2: too quick

What’s the difference when you say
Hard to hear with echo and too fast for me.
The Audio is not so good but with headphones its ok :)
Hard to pick up everything. Could be louder and crystal clear
The Audio is not great. That makes it even harder to understand.
AUDIO IS LOW
AND BASE IS HIGH
The sound is a little lacking. Difficult to hear.
It would be even good to put subtitle in Russian please?!

Hi, I'm from Denmark. But as far as I know all Russian names have aliases that you would say instead. For example Ekaterina is Katya etc etc.
Don’t call Mr Putin Vova! 😂

This video is terrible for learning language. The echo makes hearing distinct vocalizations nearly impossible

Oh don’t be so entitled
It's very difficult to hear y'all's voices. Thanks for the content though! Mic up and keep it coming!
