Great ideas for a compact setup. The fact the monitor is free from desk is a great touch and the dock use is practical indeed. Those IKEA desk dividers are great, shame they aren't that price friendly specially considering you need to buy the stands separately, but the concept is very good and worth considering
Hi E, love this setup idea. Question, do you think this could be an effective WFH everyday setup, for a very small room? I love the efficiency of the integrated webcam, does it hold it´s own for webconferencing? (I'm not a pro or content generator, so I donñt think I need much more) What if you used pegboards (Ikea skadis) on the wall rather than the divider? And hang the Libero from the pegboard? Do you think that would work?
11 Month after the presentation of the LG Libero Monitor its not available anymore. I was not able to get one in Germany. DOA product? Looked cool to me and won a RedDot award. Sad to see its not available anymore.
Hi, dont you face issue with 1440p screen on mac? I find it be super blurry same as with 1080 since the hidpi change that came with m1 macs. I believe to get best fond scaling you need 4k screen. The default scaling of 2k does not seem so blurry but if you scale it a bit it's terrible for me.
RE: LG 27MQ70QC Libero Monitor: It would be very interesting indeed if you could cover this monitor more in-depth, by itself, in a video. You mentioned that it may be "officially" capable of 4K resolution in the future. This would be of great interest, especially on MacOS. Also: can the monitor pivot 90º to work in "portrait mode", or no? Nice video. Nice, provisional workstation. Nice curtain wall in-behind.

I got the M2 Mac mini and i am completely new using it with External monitor. Please let me know what is the proper way to shutdown or turn off . 1. Do need to first turn off monitor and then shutdown the M2 Mac mini ? 2. or , Do we need to first shutdown the M2 Mac mini and then turn off monitor ? I am completely confused on this. Because when i was using my MacBook Pro (intel) with external monitor, i never shutdown my MacBook Pro, i used to just close the lid . I am completely confused how to do the same with M2 Mac mini .
Great setup E! I do love DEX, I use it wirelessly with a Samsung Smart TV. I'm wondering if you can do that with the LG, and you just like the speed of the wired DEX, or was that not an option with the LG ?

Hey, I don’t find the camera bad for occasional meetings. If it was terrible I would’ve either skipped it and place something else or pointed the shortcomings out. This video has nothing to do with LG BTW…nevertheless I appreciate the feedback and your time 👍🏻

You can easily replicate it with a less expensive DIY alternative to the dividers BTW

I prefer 4k 32inch because I hate blurry macOS scaling issues
4k @ 27" looks pretty good for me, even scaling to 1440P.
