I said I think city would bid. It's been said 100s of times even by Newcastle journalists that they were desperate and were listening to Gordon and Isak discussions how desperate it had become. City didn't bid . Also I get shit every show as does every Manchester City fan on Any non City channel and we have to sit there and take it why u see many City you tubers not on many panels . He is a very loyal Newcastle united fan and has been for a very long time, just because he doesn't live here doesn't mean he isn't a real fan! That conversation was about bruno and you said he was going to man city as you spoke to someone who was connected to Newcastle on another channel. @KH-xv5gm wasn't twitter and wasn't disrespecting Pete at all we chatted for 20 mins afterwards and was all fine . No issues at all. I said what I've been told and other City journalists have said . Tbh some Newcastle fans have become sensitive over everything lately and I get it we get 1000x worst and have done hence why we sued the pl. I have nothing but respect for Newcastle. I actually backed them but as soon as any team show interest in your players some of your fans go attacking fans of that club and that'd just football. @KH-xv5gm btw I never said Pete wasn't a real fan I've watched it back . I said I had spoken to other Newcastle fans who say there in the know so to speak so tbh think your being very unfair. I didn't raise my voice didn't shout etc. We had a debate and it was Pete coming from his people he hears and i was explaining the noises coming from Manchester City. This was done Friday 2 days before Newcastle had to sell Minteh and Elliott at over 60 million and many Newcastle journalists said including many close to club said that covered the psr deficiet. Don’t talk to the player himself they talk to his representatives so they’re not breaking the rules they only they talk to the player they’re breaking the rules
That can’t happen either no one representing the player can talk without NUFC permission.
@@Topblue59 Section C1 of the FA rules, meanwhile, prohibits a player who is under contract, or his agent, from talking to other clubs, or being approached by other clubs, without the consent of the player's current club.
It looks now like Newcastle were maybe hoping someone would trigger the clause. They didn't and we had to rush around to sell minteh and Anderson now we're are safe from points deduction so Bruno and isak will not be going anywhere. Like I say it's looking like the club would rather let Gordon go.
As a City fan, I think Martin is right about City bidding for BG, but it will be a waste of time. I’ve lost pretty much all confidence in the board given their performance in the transfer window last summer, so I can see them wasting the whole summer low-balling NU for BG, only for the window to shut with no proper Rodri cover. Meanwhile, the answer to many of our problem can be solved with Kimmich, but the City board will be too focused on trying to get BG for a “good deal,” and he’ll slip right thru their fingers, and City will, once again, have no cover for Rodri. Hope I’m wrong, but I doubt it
A player won’t care how much a tough pays for him it’s how much is new contract with the new club is worth

Martin asks how Newcastle can afford Isaks wage Increase, which shows he doesn't understand PSR/FFP or amortisation at all!
A player extension is win win for the club.
Isak is on a 4yr deal with 40m left on the fee costing Newcastle 10m a year
With an extension of 2 years, that 40m fee is then spread over 6 years, meaning Newcastle now owes 6.66m a year on the books.
The 3.34m that's left from the original 10m on the books will pay the wage increase and leave a proffit.
Martin is wrong and if he doesn't know how good extensions are for PSR I'd doubt all his financial talk.
We was talking release clauses which not all amatorized. I said Newcastle had to raise a lot more than advertised and Sunday they had to raise more than advertised . They had to raise over 50 million plus . I fully understand how amortisation works but not all fees are done like that especially release clauses. Wages can be but if you add many many players all onto high wages that can affect as city now have 2nd highest wage bill and that can affect psr even tho amatorized. So again I do know what I'm saying . We've had 10 years plus of this not 5 mins of it.

@craiglee3653 because wages are amatorized doesn't mean it's always never ending and can afford for everything and everyone. My point is you all thought it was 8 mill over spend and turned out to be closer to 60. Is that my fault? I said it was more than minteh and I was right.
I said City would likely bid around 85 as didn't rate 100 and yesterday city sources came out with same story on twitter. I said to Pete if he stays he stays but doesn't stop city moving in case. @TheMancunianWay It's the fee that's amortisatised, wages don't need to be as they're paid annually anyway, not upfront.
You have no clue about Newcastles accounts. No one really does, we're in this mess because the PL has delayed two sponsorship deals, training kit and ground.
They were given to PL in Dec and held back, we found out in Jan and tried to sell Almiron and Trippier, keep an eye out for the sponsorship mysteriously appearing on our training kit very soon.
Newcastle are being done dirty from day 1, which many don't see!
