What's your favorite day trip out of Tokyo?
I really enjoyed my trip to Nikko, as well as Kamakura. I also like Atami which I sometimes visit on the way back to Kansai.
I really want to hit Kawagoe on my next trip!
@@BeingKansai hey thanks for dropping by with the comment! There’s plenty to love about Kawagoe because it has its own unique atmosphere!
Another great quality Japanese Hakone video!
Smaug from Harry Potter?!?!!? Great video though, very informative. :)
Yeah total mistake on my part lol thanks for watching!
be cool if Smaug was in HP lol
@@hockey1freak yeah i know! Would totally make sense, maybe? 😂
Yokohama feels like just another big city, Hakone is on my bucket list :)
Great choice because Hakone is amazing in its own ways!
Hi excited wanderer !!!!🤗🤗🤗
Nice video
💜💜💜💜
Thank you 🤗 Always happy to receive a comment from you! 💜💜💜
Hi Aaron, if I’m going to Nikko, would Hakone be too similar for the second day trip option? (We will be staying in Nikko ryokan for a night). Your videos have been all so helpful!
Thank you so much for the kind compliments! For your question, Nikko is 3 hours away from Hakone so it’s a tad too far for me to consider as a daytrip because when you get there it’s probably almost noon! But, hakone is a beautiful place in its own right and is very different to nikko.
Mainly because you can choose to ride a pirate ship on lake hakone, shop at hakone’s premium outlet mall and take the cable car to the top of the mountain for great views. Oh did i also mention that you can catch great views of Mount Fuji in Hakone? Weather permitting of course 😀
@@excitedwandererjapan I see! Thank you, yea we are doing two days in Nikko so I guess it’s not a day trip 😅 doing Tokyo-Kyoto-Osaka-Nikko end of May was thinking maybe we can squeeze hakone 🙌🏼 and youre vids been really helpful..!
@@l.w.9567 Whoa that sounds like an awesome plan! I guess you're flying out from Tokyo after Nikko right? Anyway, you can totally do Hakone as a daytrip from Tokyo before heading to Kyoto if you have the time! Hakone is only 1.5 hours away from Tokyo so it's very doable.
