The fact that both of them dance around their shared and not so shared past is amusing. Welt does know her name, and is testing her on if he can trust her like he can with his version of Mei. Acheron makes a very Mei like answer that she is abiding by the final request of a loved one and can not simply describe her journey in a few words, Welt also knows this. The animation helps sell this even more, they have this vague familiarity with each other but don't actually come from the same place. Izumo is not the Earth Welt knows, and Welt isn't the First Sovereign that Acheron knows, but they know each other enough that Acheron knows that Welt won't attack her, and with her words and actions, Welt knows that Acheron isn't the person he's looking for. Considering what we learned about Izumo, it sounds like unfortunately Acheron at some point saw her Welt die or had to kill him herself to forge Origin. If only Welt could tell her that in one world, on one cycle, happiness happened and that she could find it too, but I doubt the woman who's swung her sword at an Aeon would listen to that.
i thought she killed kiana? since it was ‘end’ and HoE is kiana kaslana but the varient of her that destroyed the world, so to get ‘origin’ she would’ve killed ‘end’ to save the world

We don't know when her version of Kiana died, but it was some time before End and Origin was forged, judging from the Myriad Celestia and the later talks between Welt and Acheron. I'd personally put it at either Domination or Binding that Kiana'd die.

There is a lot of possibilities and even then it could probably be none of them, there is a chance both of them existed, maybe the special person was not a kiana but an elysia. So on, and so forth. We can only speculate until her backstory is shown.

In game version is the final product, Zannir’s version is just a revised smoother version of the original if the game ever gets a “remastered” just like games like the modern warfare series
I was pleasantly surprised by Arlecchino's story quest. The camera angles and especially the animations on Arlecchino herself made everything seem more expressive than usual. Hopefully, Genshin will keep up that level of quality and keep learning from HSR.
@@greenssus9779 You surely haven't played Genshin recently, since late Sumeru to all of Fontaine they have improved in the dialogue sections, new animations, sound effects and a lot of camera angles.
I mean its funny to think that nobody at hoyoverse would like to animate dialogue sections like this lol... It's just a bunch of extra work and the fact that it would take more memory
@@itriyumpretty much, Hoyo is more than capable of producing animations of this quality and higher if they really wanted to but dont which is odd considering that ZZZ is gonna have the highest quality animations of any mobile game. I feel like getting two or five extra people to work on the animations wont slow down anything tbh. I think going all out for story cutscenes that come out every like 2 months is not asking for too much.

It might not look like much, but FYI, the size difference between the two scenes shown above is massive (up from 10 to 50 times higher, depending on how they program the commands). It's a really good idea, but you need to remember that at its core, HI3, Genshin and HSR are "a game" before anything. It's simply wise for them to conserve size for future gameplay. Because knowing hoyo games, it's always better to play safe and cut corners (i mean...look at genshin's size). And if you still want zannir-like animations for those games...well, zannir is here :/
@@azureknight729 not every cutscene in ZZZ is animated lol. you are going to be shocked a lot of the dialogues in ZZZ are the same as the original HSR one. It just so happens they added a lot for ZZZ because it seems like they won't be focusing to much on large dialogues. and more into fight scenes. if anything it just means less content on ZZZ on the story side I suppose. because the animated cutscenes in HSR and genshin are Seperated by long story dialogues in between each cutscene. now ZZZ just makes it seem like every scene is Animated because they cut the story short because that's how the Game should be. fast paced fun fight battle game.

1:56 I actually really apprieciated the leaned back; behind Acheron's back camera by Hoyo here. Yea, it gives less "facial expression" but it allows imagination to kick in and builds tension, empowering next upcoming sentence. By making Welt push towards Acheron it added more agression, which already was pretty bold play by Welt with threat alone.
This cold, calculative encounter was just pure cold. Of course the guy who literally crossed into another dimension confronts an Emanator of Nihility alone.
It's the same dimension. His earth is in the galaxy, but not connected like the rest of space faring people cause the trailblazer didn't make a pathway to it.

Theory suggesting they are in same universe takes the imaginary tree approach and considers planets or Solar system as leaves. Which is supported by Herta having both wind glider and Himeko's sword's shards. While we know that HI3 and GGz both are parallel universes not different planets. And despite there being Shards of Himeko's sword no one knows about earth in HSR universe. Considering Herta she'd have known about earth as she is a genius under Nous. The only way we can confirm either is when we encounter either Sugars or sky people. As those are the only beyond the stars entities we have that'd explain the relationship btw all hoyo games.
I like your animation a lot, the little movements especially can add a lot of nuance to the words they say. It adds more impact, helps give the dialogue more weight and I can't pry my eyes away from the screen. That's not all, the sound effects and camera angles really set the tone too. Well done bro
As much as i’d love for the game to have such animations like you do, especially for conversations like this, it’s just not feasible. Which is perhaps a good thing as well cause we get to discover talent like yours. I hope you continue to grow and make more of these animations 🎉
in all honesty this is exactly what i wish for the game even getting closer to this would be amazing and its hard to say its not feasible when they make as much money as they do they 100% could the only reason it wouldn't be feasible is they don't want to put more money into the game than they need to as the game is already doing incredibly well why spend more money on the game that they don't need to. yes it wouldn't be cheap but it wouldn't be that expensive and realistically they don't need to use said level of animation for all dialogue just use it more often and on more important conversations for example although ofc if all dialogue was like that it would be amazing. (my personal opinion is that we need to be critical about games putting in the bare minimum unless that is what we want to be playing this company makes more money than the vast majority of other game companies we cannot treat them like some indie devs who are doing their best with what they have hoyo has the money and ability to make their games better so there is no excuse for them not to other than plain and simply not wanting to put in that effort and money (greed)) genuinely i believe the game would be so much more enjoyable with just a bit better camera angles changes as well as expressions/animations for the characters again it doesn't have to be just like this even closer to this would be SO helpful. and i want to make it clear that i am not hating on the game i am being critical of the game i play and enjoy the game in its current state and its because of this i would love if the game was able to actually reach the potential that i know it could. I love the small details. The little flick of eyes down to where Welt's cane would be stowed, or held when she mentions is, really adds an extra little 'hit'.
Its the small bits in this animation that are so good...the slight nods, the eyebrows, the smirks and grimaces. Penacony is a great story and your animation really captures the essence of it.
Welt is THE man! We have characters going through or beginning their journey, but then you have Welt, who's already been on the entire Honkai impact 3rd journey and more. Welt is king, and a force to be reckoned with. We have seen how far he will go to protect things he holds dear to him; and not even an Emanator or Hercher can stand in his way of that.
It's not that Hoyo doesn't have the money or resources to do the same and add those finer details, they do. However, we should not forget that some of the dialogue may not line up precisely with the emotions and physical actions shown by the characters in the game because the game is dubbed in several languages. My guess would be it's in-sync with the Chinese. Overall, the broader animation and expression, for lack of better words, is more likely understood universally and will generally line up well in all four languages. For example, shaking your head "no," while it can be associated with many things, is fairly universal. Shrugging, however, is very much an American thing. All the small movements and micro-expressions, while likely subconscious and habitual, tend to be very deliberate with what we are doing, feeling and thinking, and how we are speaking. That being said, Zannir, your take on it is great and feels very emotive, natural, and alive. Great work indeed.

Maybe because i was an economic student at my core, but my reasoning behind their decision to refrain from making such animations are all from the business stand-point. Never really thought about the language-difference aspect that you pointed out. That's an eye opener for sure. (Also, I wouldn't bite into the bait if i were you, if you know what i mean).
I wish hoyo made regular dialogues animated similar to this, or how they animate their cutscenes. I wish in genshin and hsr they had flowy movement like yours and they aint so stiff. I f regular dialogues were animated like the cutscenes, more human like like yours, it would be great, and maybe hoyo could make their dialogues less wordy. Your animation is rlly great. I can't speak about the newer content in Genshin, but the beginning content was likely hampered by the fact that China had a massive quarantine period because of covid, and as such severely decreased the efficiency of the cutscene animation staff. The animations might've also been hampered by them using a new animation engine for in-game cutscenes, which would be another learning curve on top of quarantine. That being said, it would be nice for new players if they went back and remade the Monstandt and Liyue cutscenes in the current style, or even just fix Venti and Diluc's necks so they don't look like they have scoliosis.
This is so good! That's exactly what I feel that is missing in those parts, body language! (of course the shots helped too) On paper that does not sound so important, but such little details enhance the scene. Those arm and head movements adds adds so much more life and personality! Little sidenote: I really wish HSR implemented unique poses for each character too for moments like these, an example that we could use is Visual Novels, as they too heavily depend on text. Having different poses prevents these scenes to be boring
I love how every time anyone form the express starts trying to interrogate a character, they immediately default to “you’re traveling with a Stellaron why should I answer YOUR questions huh???”
Honestly I really want them to change the animation styles. EXPRESSIONS MATTER! It's a dialogue! with close up shots and sometimes zoom! It's too bland watching their models have the same expression and only moving their mouths! (not even synced). I can get by the non-synced mouth movement, but I really want to see expressions on their faces, body movement, posture, and eye contact/movement. That's how dialogue is supposed to be when you have 3D models!
Seeing this gives me unique observation, Like how some nihility characters have their left eye covered/almost covered with their hair bangs (include sampo)
Excellent facial animations and editing, but the compositions are better in the original. Watch how the lines in the background work for the scenes in the left one. And the position of the horizon line in wide shots. The Fan made one could do well with better composition. Yes this is criticism. But a good one, because this is in the belief that you'd continue improving!
Its wild that when i watched Zannir ver separately i thought there were a lot of changes, but now seeing side by side i realize the changes are all subtle changed, crazy how much those added life to this conversation
Makes me wonder how long Acheron has been wandering as a Self Annihilator that she was able to tell that the cane Joachim has is not a mundane tool. Arguments can be made that his Cane has the same feeling as the Root Edict Edge which was Star Rail's version of Cosmic Harmony. And while Welt was able ro confirms that The Sugar's Alien Key bares a striking resemblance to the 2nd Herrscher, he has to experience a demonstration. Acheron on the other hand guessed it on first glance And as much of a fan of Impact 3rd, the Cane, sadly isn't going to do anything major to someone who's been exposed by Nuhility more than enough time and still alive and well
Sadly animating every main scene like this in-game is impossible. There are too many and the many variations would bloat memory to insane degrees. But it's very nice to look at, good work :)
Also people need to remember this is a mobile game first and foremost. Putting all these resources will make that platform incompatible sooner than later
That was so smooth hsr should hire u to do the scenes I feel like it would feel more interactive if there was more movement and body language instead of just there standing
i just loved how expressive they are!!! i truly wish hoyo put a little more of effort on those tiny scenes, like more expression (the way u did is perfect), more movement and poses bcs its really annoying seein the same old default poses all the time. u did a dreat job and I'm eager to see ur future works ❤️
As someone who just caught up to story. Your animation feels far less stiff. And I like that though i do know they have...limitations...probably? But def prefer yours.
Small little tweaks to the body and facial gestures. Small actions like Welt stepping towards Acheron threateningly, slight shifts of camera angles, which gave more focus on the faces. Really good work. I was just wondering why the colour seems a little washed in your edited version?
Definitely better than the original. The fanmade scene is obviously well done, however, Hoyo should be able to do it much better with their ressources. If they made all their animations more detailed, it would add so much to the immersion.

Yeahh geshin kinda lack on the facial expression and camera angles shots. HSR is way better in those terms...

No bro its just simple they lazy about it fam this is a whole fan animation and its already better than the game animation by simple improving some things adding more details these companies sint shit at times
Maybe because i was an economic student at my core, but my reasoning behind their decision to refrain from making such animations are all from the business stand-point. Never really thought about the language-difference aspect that you pointed out. That's an eye opener for sure.

I wish hoyo made regular dialogues animated similar to this, or how they animate their cutscenes. I wish in genshin and hsr they had flowy movement like yours and they aint so stiff. I f regular dialogues were animated like the cutscenes, more human like like yours, it would be great, and maybe hoyo could make their dialogues less wordy. Your animation is rlly great. Keep going ❤

In Genshin one of these kind of videos would be a night and day difference. But with HSR it’s just an added layer of polish and that is wild to me.
I can't speak about the newer content in Genshin, but the beginning content was likely hampered by the fact that China had a massive quarantine period because of covid, and as such severely decreased the efficiency of the cutscene animation staff. The animations might've also been hampered by them using a new animation engine for in-game cutscenes, which would be another learning curve on top of quarantine.
That being said, it would be nice for new players if they went back and remade the Monstandt and Liyue cutscenes in the current style, or even just fix Venti and Diluc's necks so they don't look like they have scoliosis.

Genshin's tech is 4 years old now.
If HSR couldn't show a better animation tech from a 4 year old game, it wouldn't mean well for the game.
This is so good! That's exactly what I feel that is missing in those parts, body language! (of course the shots helped too)
On paper that does not sound so important, but such little details enhance the scene.
Those arm and head movements adds adds so much more life and personality!
Little sidenote: I really wish HSR implemented unique poses for each character too for moments like these, an example that we could use is Visual Novels, as they too heavily depend on text. Having different poses prevents these scenes to be boring
I love how every time anyone form the express starts trying to interrogate a character, they immediately default to “you’re traveling with a Stellaron why should I answer YOUR questions huh???”

Honestly I really want them to change the animation styles. EXPRESSIONS MATTER! It's a dialogue! with close up shots and sometimes zoom! It's too bland watching their models have the same expression and only moving their mouths! (not even synced). I can get by the non-synced mouth movement, but I really want to see expressions on their faces, body movement, posture, and eye contact/movement. That's how dialogue is supposed to be when you have 3D models!
This is really well done. Animation really comes down to the devil in the details and I think you nailed it, at least in my opinion.

Excellent facial animations and editing, but the compositions are better in the original. Watch how the lines in the background work for the scenes in the left one. And the position of the horizon line in wide shots.

The dialogue is much more palatable when the animations have some life to them.
Its wild that when i watched Zannir ver separately i thought there were a lot of changes, but now seeing side by side i realize the changes are all subtle changed, crazy how much those added life to this conversation

Makes me wonder how long Acheron has been wandering as a Self Annihilator that she was able to tell that the cane Joachim has is not a mundane tool. Arguments can be made that his Cane has the same feeling as the Root Edict Edge which was Star Rail's version of Cosmic Harmony. And while Welt was able ro confirms that The Sugar's Alien Key bares a striking resemblance to the 2nd Herrscher, he has to experience a demonstration. Acheron on the other hand guessed it on first glance
And as much of a fan of Impact 3rd, the Cane, sadly isn't going to do anything major to someone who's been exposed by Nuhility more than enough time and still alive and well

Sadly animating every main scene like this in-game is impossible. There are too many and the many variations would bloat memory to insane degrees. But it's very nice to look at, good work :)
Also people need to remember this is a mobile game first and foremost. Putting all these resources will make that platform incompatible sooner than later

As someone who just caught up to story. Your animation feels far less stiff. And I like that though i do know they have...limitations...probably? But def prefer yours.
Small little tweaks to the body and facial gestures. Small actions like Welt stepping towards Acheron threateningly, slight shifts of camera angles, which gave more focus on the faces. Really good work. I was just wondering why the colour seems a little washed in your edited version?
Definitely better than the original. The fanmade scene is obviously well done, however, Hoyo should be able to do it much better with their ressources. If they made all their animations more detailed, it would add so much to the immersion.
