I had to wait until I was at 370 pulls on the standard banner because I also wanted Himeko and could not get her (only got her by losing my Robin 50/50 and THEN I could finally claim Bronya). For some reason, even though I've lost most of my 50/50s, it was always either Yanqing (E2), Welt (E1) or Clara and Bailu. So yeah, the whole "everyone could have easily had eidolons of her by the time Topaz came out" kinda hurts é_è Anyway, hold on, @capedcluckles, you'll soon have your own Bronya!
I think one thing to note about standard banner characters is that as veteran players go longer, their standard characters’ eidolons will naturally grow in numbers, as they lose more and more 50/50s. So what future limited characters have to do is to compete with standard banner characters that has a lot of eidolons.

(This is a good drag eidolon so that your damage dealer can now run Atk/Def/HP boots) E6 - extend skill Duration by another turn. (Making her viable with our of turn ultimate character) If you're going to read her full kit you will know that her best build is a SP neutral/ SP+ build. Her eidolons make her as strong as slow Bronya (which still is the strongest buffer even after Sparkle) with a skill point neural rotation. I would say, E6 Sparkle is a better harmony supporting the whole team, but for Hypercarry, she still offers relatively the same value and nothing significant compared to E6 Bronya. And comparing E6 Sparkle with either E6 Ruan Mei or E6 Robin, I'll in no doubt pick the latter.

She is still on par with Sparkle if you have her at E1S1 which is not impossible for veteran F2P player. Since you can get a copy of her after 300 pull in the standard banner and grab her lightcone with starlight exchange.

@@pptctv because in PF you need at least 2 dps or 160+ speed team as hypercarry or specific characters that can kill of enemies without needing more turns since in PF we have less turns than in MoC, sure argenti can work if you have speed tingyun and huohuo and a very fast bronya (basicly 160+ speed team) while a herta + himeko can just go once and delete the wave phase in just one action, 2 dps vs hypercarry Hypercarry is anything but cheap, you have to make the dps as strong as you can otherwise your dmg will fall of compared to dual dps, while in hypercarry you need to focus on balancing speed, and stats (depending on your dps, like crit, break effect, ATK, effect hit or depending on your sustain, hp, effect res, def) and have to balance the team into either, dps, debuffer/buffer, debuffer/buffer, sustain = depending on characters While dual dps damagers usually need the same sh#t, DoT needs AtK and effect Hit rate with either asta/ruan mei/robin as support + any sustain is good (PTB is especially good with market as it gives dot to enemies since TB taunts) FuA teams most important part is topaz, no topaz no efficient FuA team, as she basicly does 3 thing, she deals dmg, she debuffs enemies, she buffs teammates, and all her dmg is FuA, she enables FuA dual dps teams as her being one dps Blade is like the perfect sub dps material, he is a tank and all he needs is being targeted and he deals dmg in 3 ways, ult, FuA, and basic atk, as long you have lnyx he will be mostly targeted and all he will need is either a good dps that can work alone or make him work, like future jade, and he is kinda forced into dual dps as black swan came out taking wind element into a DoT will take care of it moment One of the most working dual dps is jingliu and blade and once a sustainer that will make characters have 2k-4k bonus hp that team (not just the characters) value will go as top notch even further than sparkle + DHIL, hypercarry is way costly as you build the team around the dps, meaning, that if you take out one piece it will fall if you can't replace it, dual dps is builded around the support, as long the dps gets the buffs it will work Hypercarry's needs perfect rotation so it can use all the buffs and debuffs from the party making it speed tuning a hell ride and makes you unhappy in a long run, while dual dps just needs the buff from that 1 harmony and they go brrrr (with topaz/black swan its sp friendly most of the time) Hypercarry = hardcore speed tunning Dual dps = hardcore luck As there is one problem with dual dps, FuA teams needs either robin/ruan mei to be efficient, without them its hard to build dual dps, and there are characters that wont alow dual dps, like acheron/seele/DHIL/boothill or future firefly (and slightly argenti, i did make him work with herta tho in PF) I am not saying hypercarry is bad, i am saying its value is going down as we get dps characters that gives buffs or buffers that gives the whole team buffs, what the point of using ruan mei with bronya just so that team can give the hypercarry 60%+ dmg with 20%+ penetration, while in other team where 2 dps, that 60%+ dmg and 20%+ pen will go into dmg making it 120%+ dmg with 40%+ pen overall It will go down as we get more characters that are just function as damage dealers while buffing the team, people trash talked aventurine damage while mine with 3,7k def, 90% crit rate and 100+% crit dmg in moc dealt 60k with just one ult, don't even have his signature just the f2p that gives dmg bonus by the amount of def, even sustainers started to deal dmg, aventurine+gallagher
@@pptctvyea, saying it's going down is an exaggeration, but now there are more options and you still need a second team for MoC and PF anyways and most hypercarry DPS want the same supports so you are better off investing in hypercarry + another team archetype or 2 team archetypes that are not hypercarry so you are sure you have 2 teams for any situation.
I play since 1.0 and also a Jingyuan main Me and all of my jingyuan main back then love Bronya Sure he can’t use her skill buff (unless e6 bronya) but the main value she bring is to let Jingyuan get his 10 stack without the need of building for spd And the crit dam, remove cc and atk buff of her still work well with JingYuan
What a lot of the comments aren’t understanding is he’s not saying bronya is bad, he’s emphasising how the flaws in bronya’s kits are causing her to lose value over time (not the queen of hyper carry anymore) and we are seeing the flaws of the kit with the passage of time.
She still is the queen of hyper carry it’s just hyper carry itself is not as prevalent. Dot, follow-up, are much more popular now which Bronya does not excel much in unless e6.
This hits even harder when you have all the limited 5 star harmony characters. Though, sometimes I do play Bronya with Sparkle in MOC. Most of the times, I just use Ruan Mei and Robin.
I didn't reroll but got Bronya as my starter. I soon got Tingyun but didn't build her until now (over a year later) and I MISSED OUT ON SO MUCH SHE'S AMAZING

she is still busted as she was, but naturally new Harmony got released and they replaced her in many teams as she was literally everywhere, but guess what, the same would have happend in Ruan Mei Sparkle or Robin got released before her as each of them have a team where they shine the most. Bronya is still the best harmony in Blade or Jingliu comp, and probably Boothill too once he comes out, and so will be for any new dps who doesn't usa many skill point
Ngl bronya carried me early game and into mid game, currently rn ive swapped her for sparkle e0s1 because of my dhil hypercarry, but i rebuilt her ready for her to be used. And in early game i got clara from the 5* beginner warp and won a seele in my first 10 pull on limited and when i had saved enough i got bronya from my first 10 pull on standard banner, my luck definitely helped me beat a lot of the harder content back then
Bronya isn't irrelevant. She's still busted. She's still useful than Sparkle in some scenarios since she can double your DPS turn with her when she takes action after your DPS. Sparkle can't do that with her 50% action advance. And I do have both and I like them equally.
so sad i didnt lose to bronya once, i had to pick her after 300 standard pulls, but i got sparkle already by this point so the former queen humbly sits at comfortable level 40, naked
Day 1 of having Bronya is a blessing she can carry you to victory when I first got her in Seele's banner I was mad but I'm still happy cause she carried my team from day 1
I still use her alot since I dont have Robin and Sparkle. Built her with 161 SPD and shes giving my dps like triple the turn lol. I got her from my 300 selection ticket and even if you ask me now who I wouldve picked I still would go for her 100%.
i think its more that before our only option is bronya but now there are plenty. Robin is quite universal though, she is best in slot for follow up but her buffs are still very good outside. Bronya is my first 5*, It's been one year and I can't get her out of the team. I spd tuned her cuz I swapped her spd relics with Sparkle but I still use her making my Bladie stronger than your Acheron.
I'm in that ANNOYING point in my account where I missed out on Sparkle and Ruan Mei but I have E1 Bronya. I love her to death, I'm also emotionally attached to her. I am desperate for her Light Cone Despite the stronger Harmony characters...Bronya is STILL a peak character, gameplay and story wise. She is never leaving my teams
My builds are atrocious because I haven’t played the game very long but my Lvl 60 Bronya with Lvl 2 traces and minimal relics still helped carry my team all the way to Floor 10. I’m definitely going to eventually build her properly lol
I shall throw my own thoughts into this. Bronya, i wouldn't say is necessarily dethroned. Is she the best option? No, but she has a lot of positives. Her biggest negative is that she's very skill point hungry, and i won't deny that. However, her most shining feature is that she's part of the standard banner. She isn't a special limited character like Ruan mei or Sparkle. She can be gotten through the standard banner. Sure, it's rng dependant, but a bronya is a welcome choice anywhere. Shes very consistent in her hypercarry potential. - Her E1 is a mixed bag. But a 50% chance to not use a skill point is still good. - Her skill, while it's very hungry for skill points, moves the ally 100% of the time, rather than Sparkles 50% that isnt to say shes better. Sparkle gives crit damage, which is very important for a lot of damage dealers. Now ill admit sparkle with her skill point regen, and her additional skill points make for a better harmony character for hungry teams. Such as Dan Heng IL. Personally bronya is still going pretty strong. Especially since shes a day 1 5-star character

tbh bronya is still pretty good harmony charater if you are hyper carry main. just use bronya for your first team then sparkle for second team in moc or pf, they are good harmony characters afterall, the only downside of bronya is her sp econony, negelcting that at e1s1 bronya and sparkle can be on the same level but if you have high investment sparkle she can outweight bronya but yeah i dont really see why people say sparkle is way better, sparkle only will be better than bronya at high eidolons (e2 or higher) but yeah just use bronya if you want she is still pretty good harmony character
Me who has never used a harmony character before just sitting here. I mean, I have used some, but not as for most battles, just never touched one to put onto team unless it's a weakness break type for certain battles.
Funnily enough, I think Bronya/Jade will be a fantastic new combo, especially with Blade, in 2.3. Bronya is still strong (even if Hypercarry isn’t as strong compared to FUA or Break [after Bootlicker and FF drop]) but she has fewer options at the moment. The difference is that she’s a huge flex support if needed
@@anders12114 personaly i put them both with jingliu, sparkle 164 spd and bronia 134 but anyway just have one faster and one slower(i'd say sparkle faster for faster utlimate regen for more skill points) and then attack boots dps(or hp[RIP Blade]).
Me who uses Sparkle and Bronya comp. You just need to use a Low cost Burst spamming Hypercarry....to get both Sparkle's Crit dmg and Bronya's DMG Bonus.

I was wondering about something…Will there ever be a meta that involves the counter mechanic ? Because apart from Clara, there isn’t really any other character that is a full-blown counter fighter. I absolutely love Clara’s play style and would love to see more characters that can punch the enemy back when they themselves get punched by the enemy.
I mean, you can build a “counter-Jumping” team with clara, ratio, topaz and now aventurine. i dont have ratio built so rn I use ruan mei instead (this might be better). But the moment clara gets hurt or gets her ult, the follow up attacks start rolling out, and the enemies start having a bad time 😎
For some reason my account is Bronya-seeded. I have an E4 Bronya. She works so well with my Huo2/Bronya/RuanMei/ Jingliu. Her followup and chance of not using a skill point works so well with my Jingliu. As long Jingliu is valid (not for long imo) she's irreplaceable for this team.
You make it sound as if Bronya is bad now lmao. Bronya's buff are still more potent than Hanabi's but the only thing pulling her down is her SP needs and the short duration of buffs, which are both fixed by eidolons. I have both Hanabi and E2S1 Bronya and they are pretty comparable overall imo. Hanabi needs very high speed in order to advance the character properly, and even then it fumbles sometimes. She also lacks the cleanse Bronya has, that can be kind of pain in some situations, even with the 5* sustains like Huo HUo and Fu Xian. For casual players Hanabi is the better choice because she can be easier to build, compared to bronya but their ceilings are very similar

Bronya getting wayyyyy too much hate. She is still the best support for low sp hyper carries and with E1 S1 which are both free you can put her in more Sp hungry characters.
To say Bronya was powercrept, it wasn't really 2.0 that started off all of this. It was 1.6 that gave off the signal, that hypercarry comp, that Bronya was mainly in, was bound to lose its position as the sole playstyle in the game, now that we have DoT and FuA as dual carry playstyle, but back then mostly FuA. You see, 1.6 is the patch that opened up the dual carry playstyle now that it's more viable with the introduction of Ruan Mei, and then Dr Ratio. Both are major factors contributing to, the FuA team comp as of now. RM constantly performing greatly due to her buffs being good for hypercarry aside from dual carry, and Dr Ratio having really great synergy with the previous Hunt FuA character namely Topaz, it was a hidden gem, a version that definitely outperform hypercarry version of Dr Ratio or Topaz. It was the start of dual carry being able to rival the hypercarry playstyle. But ofc, mainly it's 2.0 patch that hit the nail in the coffin. DoT team performing really good, while Sparkle is just a better version of Bronya, giving a very similar dmg amp value while costing next to none in terms of SP. An engine that is just straight up more efficient than Bronya, while also having the potential for dual carry if getting eidolons. It's been a joke that either it's either Bronya E6 or Sparkle. The rise of dual carry playstyle, while having a better engine for hypercarry and can even do dual carry comp, it's just straight up double hit to Bronya's position. Even now, looking back from 1.6 to 2.1, there're really not many characters that Bronya synergizes well, that honestly, it feels like Bronya's getting less and less value, even lower than Tingyun because her synergy with the characters from 1.6 to 2.1 is even better than Bronya, if we disregard Acheron. But u get the context. Bronya's position being hit twice, and ofc worse synergy than other supports, really put her in a tough spot, as ideally, she's just better off in JL and Blade's comps, and they are bound to be off for a few more patches. So yeah, RIP Bronya.
HSR is getting worse and worse with the characters, the game has some of the worst power creep I have seen in years. And they also make content tailored to the new broken ones, which makes it very hard for some of the older characters (except Kafka, she will continue to be peak). I have not used Bronya even once for at least the last 6 or 7 months (or most of the original 4-stars), because almost every new support is much better than her (Sparkle is game-breaking ridiculous). Let's not forget the insane focus on AoE content which makes most single-target characters almost useless (I am looking at you Seele and SW). I have started to get bored of the game, and the story doesn't help. The 2.0 quest's best points where Sparkle, Black Swan, and Acheron, I didn't even care about the story itself, so I have not even touched the story of 2.1 and 2.2. I even missed a couple of the events because I had to finish the quests first, and I didn't want to bother.
as a devoted bronya fan: this video's kind of a scam, my bronya is still my most used character and goes well on any dps that likes action value especially at E1S1. argenti is far from the only character who benefits from this and my go to blade team involves sparkle boosting blade, blade acting and then bronya boosting him again and it's enough to 3 star most moc's. bronya has been powercrept in the sense that there's a stronger option, not that she isn't useful anymore!!! and with sparkle not being on the permanent pool, the longer the game is out the more viable she is compared to pulling for sparkle without her signature (which bronya can easily obtain her own after enough playtime, no one's going for night on the milky way or welt's let's be real)

@@pptctv because in PF you need at least 2 dps or 160+ speed team as hypercarry or specific characters that can kill of enemies without needing more turns since in PF we have less turns than in MoC, sure argenti can work if you have speed tingyun and huohuo and a very fast bronya (basicly 160+ speed team) while a herta + himeko can just go once and delete the wave phase in just one action, 2 dps vs hypercarry
Hypercarry is anything but cheap, you have to make the dps as strong as you can otherwise your dmg will fall of compared to dual dps, while in hypercarry you need to focus on balancing speed, and stats (depending on your dps, like crit, break effect, ATK, effect hit or depending on your sustain, hp, effect res, def) and have to balance the team into either, dps, debuffer/buffer, debuffer/buffer, sustain = depending on characters
While dual dps damagers usually need the same sh#t, DoT needs AtK and effect Hit rate with either asta/ruan mei/robin as support + any sustain is good (PTB is especially good with market as it gives dot to enemies since TB taunts)
FuA teams most important part is topaz, no topaz no efficient FuA team, as she basicly does 3 thing, she deals dmg, she debuffs enemies, she buffs teammates, and all her dmg is FuA, she enables FuA dual dps teams as her being one dps
Blade is like the perfect sub dps material, he is a tank and all he needs is being targeted and he deals dmg in 3 ways, ult, FuA, and basic atk, as long you have lnyx he will be mostly targeted and all he will need is either a good dps that can work alone or make him work, like future jade, and he is kinda forced into dual dps as black swan came out taking wind element into a DoT will take care of it moment
One of the most working dual dps is jingliu and blade and once a sustainer that will make characters have 2k-4k bonus hp that team (not just the characters) value will go as top notch even further than sparkle + DHIL, hypercarry is way costly as you build the team around the dps, meaning, that if you take out one piece it will fall if you can't replace it, dual dps is builded around the support, as long the dps gets the buffs it will work
Hypercarry's needs perfect rotation so it can use all the buffs and debuffs from the party making it speed tuning a hell ride and makes you unhappy in a long run, while dual dps just needs the buff from that 1 harmony and they go brrrr (with topaz/black swan its sp friendly most of the time)
Hypercarry = hardcore speed tunning
Dual dps = hardcore luck
As there is one problem with dual dps, FuA teams needs either robin/ruan mei to be efficient, without them its hard to build dual dps, and there are characters that wont alow dual dps, like acheron/seele/DHIL/boothill or future firefly (and slightly argenti, i did make him work with herta tho in PF)
I am not saying hypercarry is bad, i am saying its value is going down as we get dps characters that gives buffs or buffers that gives the whole team buffs, what the point of using ruan mei with bronya just so that team can give the hypercarry 60%+ dmg with 20%+ penetration, while in other team where 2 dps, that 60%+ dmg and 20%+ pen will go into dmg making it 120%+ dmg with 40%+ pen overall
It will go down as we get more characters that are just function as damage dealers while buffing the team, people trash talked aventurine damage while mine with 3,7k def, 90% crit rate and 100+% crit dmg in moc dealt 60k with just one ult, don't even have his signature just the f2p that gives dmg bonus by the amount of def, even sustainers started to deal dmg, aventurine+gallagher
@@pptctvyea, saying it's going down is an exaggeration, but now there are more options and you still need a second team for MoC and PF anyways and most hypercarry DPS want the same supports so you are better off investing in hypercarry + another team archetype or 2 team archetypes that are not hypercarry so you are sure you have 2 teams for any situation.

Sure he can’t use her skill buff (unless e6 bronya) but the main value she bring is to let Jingyuan get his 10 stack without the need of building for spd

What a lot of the comments aren’t understanding is he’s not saying bronya is bad, he’s emphasising how the flaws in bronya’s kits are causing her to lose value over time (not the queen of hyper carry anymore) and we are seeing the flaws of the kit with the passage of time.
She still is the queen of hyper carry it’s just hyper carry itself is not as prevalent. Dot, follow-up, are much more popular now which Bronya does not excel much in unless e6.

This hits even harder when you have all the limited 5 star harmony characters. Though, sometimes I do play Bronya with Sparkle in MOC. Most of the times, I just use Ruan Mei and Robin.
I didn't reroll but got Bronya as my starter. I soon got Tingyun but didn't build her until now (over a year later) and I MISSED OUT ON SO MUCH SHE'S AMAZING
Bronya was my first ever HSR 5 star, got on Blade's re-run banner...then 30 pulls later Blade 😊

with blade and jing liu it's pretty good cause of the fact that they don't consume as much skill points as other dps
she is still busted as she was, but naturally new Harmony got released and they replaced her in many teams as she was literally everywhere, but guess what, the same would have happend in Ruan Mei Sparkle or Robin got released before her as each of them have a team where they shine the most. Bronya is still the best harmony in Blade or Jingliu comp, and probably Boothill too once he comes out, and so will be for any new dps who doesn't usa many skill point
Ngl bronya carried me early game and into mid game, currently rn ive swapped her for sparkle e0s1 because of my dhil hypercarry, but i rebuilt her ready for her to be used. And in early game i got clara from the 5* beginner warp and won a seele in my first 10 pull on limited and when i had saved enough i got bronya from my first 10 pull on standard banner, my luck definitely helped me beat a lot of the harder content back then
Bronya isn't irrelevant. She's still busted.
She's still useful than Sparkle in some scenarios since she can double your DPS turn with her when she takes action after your DPS. Sparkle can't do that with her 50% action advance.
And I do have both and I like them equally.
Only standart characters I have are Bronya e2 and her lc and Gepard e0 and his lc. Belobog loves me
so sad i didnt lose to bronya once, i had to pick her after 300 standard pulls, but i got sparkle already by this point so the former queen humbly sits at comfortable level 40, naked
Day 1 of having Bronya is a blessing she can carry you to victory when I first got her in Seele's banner I was mad but I'm still happy cause she carried my team from day 1

I still use her alot since I dont have Robin and Sparkle. Built her with 161 SPD and shes giving my dps like triple the turn lol. I got her from my 300 selection ticket and even if you ask me now who I wouldve picked I still would go for her 100%.

My E2 S1 Bronya syncs really well with my E4 (Hunt) Dan heng, since she can activate his wind res pen passive and give him more turns

i think its more that before our only option is bronya but now there are plenty. Robin is quite universal though, she is best in slot for follow up but her buffs are still very good outside. Is it better to pick bronya or himeko in the selection, i dont really have a good unit for pure fiction except herta which makes me elan to himeko but bronya is still good so idk which to pick
She'll be very usable with Firefly. Boosting attack and pushing her to act after.

It terms of damage she still gives more damage than any other unit, her issue has and will always be skill points, she is still Jingliu's best support
100% action advance, cleanse, and 66% dmg boost in one button will never be not useful. Future space cowboy seems to want her more too.

Bronya is my first 5*, It's been one year and I can't get her out of the team. I spd tuned her cuz I swapped her spd relics with Sparkle but I still use her making my Bladie stronger than your Acheron.
As someone who doesn’t have any other 5 star Harmony characters (not including trailblazer), my E3S3 Bronya is still my second most used unit ’v'

My builds are atrocious because I haven’t played the game very long but my Lvl 60 Bronya with Lvl 2 traces and minimal relics still helped carry my team all the way to Floor 10. I’m definitely going to eventually build her properly lol
I shall throw my own thoughts into this. Bronya, i wouldn't say is necessarily dethroned. Is she the best option? No, but she has a lot of positives. Her biggest negative is that she's very skill point hungry, and i won't deny that. However, her most shining feature is that she's part of the standard banner. She isn't a special limited character like Ruan mei or Sparkle. She can be gotten through the standard banner. Sure, it's rng dependant, but a bronya is a welcome choice anywhere. Shes very consistent in her hypercarry potential.
- Her E1 is a mixed bag. But a 50% chance to not use a skill point is still good.
- Her skill, while it's very hungry for skill points, moves the ally 100% of the time, rather than Sparkles 50% that isnt to say shes better. Sparkle gives crit damage, which is very important for a lot of damage dealers.
Now ill admit sparkle with her skill point regen, and her additional skill points make for a better harmony character for hungry teams. Such as Dan Heng IL.
Personally bronya is still going pretty strong. Especially since shes a day 1 5-star character

tbh bronya is still pretty good harmony charater if you are hyper carry main. just use bronya for your first team then sparkle for second team in moc or pf, they are good harmony characters afterall, the only downside of bronya is her sp econony, negelcting that at e1s1 bronya and sparkle can be on the same level but if you have high investment sparkle she can outweight bronya but yeah i dont really see why people say sparkle is way better, sparkle only will be better than bronya at high eidolons (e2 or higher) but yeah just use bronya if you want she is still pretty good harmony character
Me who has never used a harmony character before just sitting here. I mean, I have used some, but not as for most battles, just never touched one to put onto team unless it's a weakness break type for certain battles.
She is still good especially playing with my jingliu. I will always pair bronya up with her
Funnily enough, I think Bronya/Jade will be a fantastic new combo, especially with Blade, in 2.3. Bronya is still strong (even if Hypercarry isn’t as strong compared to FUA or Break [after Bootlicker and FF drop]) but she has fewer options at the moment. The difference is that she’s a huge flex support if needed

@@anders12114 personaly i put them both with jingliu, sparkle 164 spd and bronia 134 but anyway just have one faster and one slower(i'd say sparkle faster for faster utlimate regen for more skill points) and then attack boots dps(or hp[RIP Blade]).

Because apart from Clara, there isn’t really any other character that is a full-blown counter fighter. I absolutely love Clara’s play style and would love to see more characters that can punch the enemy back when they themselves get punched by the enemy.
I mean, you can build a “counter-Jumping” team with clara, ratio, topaz and now aventurine. i dont have ratio built so rn I use ruan mei instead (this might be better). But the moment clara gets hurt or gets her ult, the follow up attacks start rolling out, and the enemies start having a bad time 😎

For some reason my account is Bronya-seeded. I have an E4 Bronya.
She works so well with my Huo2/Bronya/RuanMei/ Jingliu.
Her followup and chance of not using a skill point works so well with my Jingliu. As long Jingliu is valid (not for long imo) she's irreplaceable for this team.

You make it sound as if Bronya is bad now lmao. Bronya's buff are still more potent than Hanabi's but the only thing pulling her down is her SP needs and the short duration of buffs, which are both fixed by eidolons. I have both Hanabi and E2S1 Bronya and they are pretty comparable overall imo. Hanabi needs very high speed in order to advance the character properly, and even then it fumbles sometimes. She also lacks the cleanse Bronya has, that can be kind of pain in some situations, even with the 5* sustains like Huo HUo and Fu Xian. For casual players Hanabi is the better choice because she can be easier to build, compared to bronya but their ceilings are very similar

To say Bronya was powercrept, it wasn't really 2.0 that started off all of this. It was 1.6 that gave off the signal, that hypercarry comp, that Bronya was mainly in, was bound to lose its position as the sole playstyle in the game, now that we have DoT and FuA as dual carry playstyle, but back then mostly FuA.
You see, 1.6 is the patch that opened up the dual carry playstyle now that it's more viable with the introduction of Ruan Mei, and then Dr Ratio. Both are major factors contributing to, the FuA team comp as of now. RM constantly performing greatly due to her buffs being good for hypercarry aside from dual carry, and Dr Ratio having really great synergy with the previous Hunt FuA character namely Topaz, it was a hidden gem, a version that definitely outperform hypercarry version of Dr Ratio or Topaz. It was the start of dual carry being able to rival the hypercarry playstyle.
But ofc, mainly it's 2.0 patch that hit the nail in the coffin. DoT team performing really good, while Sparkle is just a better version of Bronya, giving a very similar dmg amp value while costing next to none in terms of SP. An engine that is just straight up more efficient than Bronya, while also having the potential for dual carry if getting eidolons. It's been a joke that either it's either Bronya E6 or Sparkle. The rise of dual carry playstyle, while having a better engine for hypercarry and can even do dual carry comp, it's just straight up double hit to Bronya's position.
Even now, looking back from 1.6 to 2.1, there're really not many characters that Bronya synergizes well, that honestly, it feels like Bronya's getting less and less value, even lower than Tingyun because her synergy with the characters from 1.6 to 2.1 is even better than Bronya, if we disregard Acheron. But u get the context. Bronya's position being hit twice, and ofc worse synergy than other supports, really put her in a tough spot, as ideally, she's just better off in JL and Blade's comps, and they are bound to be off for a few more patches.
So yeah, RIP Bronya.
HSR is getting worse and worse with the characters, the game has some of the worst power creep I have seen in years. And they also make content tailored to the new broken ones, which makes it very hard for some of the older characters (except Kafka, she will continue to be peak). I have not used Bronya even once for at least the last 6 or 7 months (or most of the original 4-stars), because almost every new support is much better than her (Sparkle is game-breaking ridiculous).
Let's not forget the insane focus on AoE content which makes most single-target characters almost useless (I am looking at you Seele and SW).
I have started to get bored of the game, and the story doesn't help. The 2.0 quest's best points where Sparkle, Black Swan, and Acheron, I didn't even care about the story itself, so I have not even touched the story of 2.1 and 2.2. I even missed a couple of the events because I had to finish the quests first, and I didn't want to bother.

as a devoted bronya fan: this video's kind of a scam, my bronya is still my most used character and goes well on any dps that likes action value especially at E1S1. argenti is far from the only character who benefits from this and my go to blade team involves sparkle boosting blade, blade acting and then bronya boosting him again and it's enough to 3 star most moc's. bronya has been powercrept in the sense that there's a stronger option, not that she isn't useful anymore!!! and with sparkle not being on the permanent pool, the longer the game is out the more viable she is compared to pulling for sparkle without her signature (which bronya can easily obtain her own after enough playtime, no one's going for night on the milky way or welt's let's be real)
