A radio station here in Tampa used to do this charity thing where you could donate money and they'd play whatever you wanted on air,some dude donated (insert money amount here) and brought in a burn the priest demo and had them play the whole thing....fucking amazing moment for me as I had just recently discovered lamb of God....that was many moons ago now kimosabi but I'll never forget it

It's not the tuning it's what you do with the tuning.
Drop D is the heaviest tuning my guy. It doesn't matter how low you go. Drop D has the heaviest sound to it, always.
It hasn't gotta be Double Drop D to be heavy, heavy has little to do with the tuning. Even E Standard can be fucking heavy!

Sacrament is good too but this album is soo fuckin heavy and full of groove. The most emotional album for me, brings the goddamn vibe and adrenaline!! The best album so far!
Idk “As the Palaces Burn” has some damn good groovin riffs! First 3 albums forever. Nothing after compares. Production quality of their new stuff is amazing; songwriting, not so much.
I think wrath is easily their most brutal album in terms of lyrics and riffs. But then i don't have any childhood or teen memories of any albums. I started listening around resolution.
