My mom and dad have a freeze dryer, and they really enjoy your channel! I like watching your videos with them even though I don't have a freeze dryer.😊 Thanks for having a fun channel with fun recipes!
Love your clocks. Sounds like you have several. I enjoy your videos, you always are so creative. Appreciate your time, your effort, your experience you share with us.
You could skip the cool whip and use Philadelphia no bake cheesecake filling. I also wonder if pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, and sweetened condensed milk would also come out, may still need to cut with something so it didn't turn out too hard.
Much like I know with a warm heart, “I’m at Aunty’s house” when I hear clock sounds, I also know “I’m hanging out with John in Bibs” with the clock sounds🕰️
Who complained about the chimes! I like them. My mother inherited a grandfather clock from her father and she doesn’t even notice the chimes 🤣! It might be wax build-up in her ears, but she hears me just fine so I don’t believe it. Ya just get used to hearing them and soon they’re just background “white noise.” Those orange wafers were just vanilla flavored, right? It might’ve added a little something to it by adding oil-based orange flavoring to the melted chocolate.. but you do you, because you do you so well!
These look delicious! To store these did you just put them in more mylar sealed bags? Or do they need to be stored in the fridge because of the chocolate coating? Has the pumpkin pie piece absorbed any of the moisture from the chocolate or have the remained nice and dry? Thanks so much!
I just have them in a Ziplock bag on my desk. Have had them there two weeks now with no O2 or desiccant, only in the bag. Just popped a couple in my mouth and still as crunchy as the day I made them. The secret is to make sure you get a complete seal with the chocolate. This stops any moisture from getting to the FD pumpkin center. I would expect them to last at least a month this way. There is no moisture in chocolate so no they do not absorb anything from dipping them in chocolate. ENJOY!
What a pretty display! Bcs orange is also a fall color, those will be perfect from now til thanksgiving. Thanks for another inspiration. Dark chocolate is my fave. I am going to order directly from Ghiradelli, like you suggested, do you have an affiliate link?
I tried to do the pumpkin pie / cool whip mix from a store made pie my sister bought, but they are hard as marble. I'll try another round with adding some milk, that might help a lot.

One can never have too many antique clocks!
Awesome video….so trying this recipe 😊
Looks great thankyou for sharing :)
You are the Pie Ball KING!
So excited to see what you have today. I have two of your books and enjoy making recipes from them.
These look so good. I wish I had more freezer space. Love the chimes. Reminds me of childhood.
I find the clocks relaxing. My Great Grandparents and some of my Aunts had grandfather clocks. Good memories. :-)
Thanks! I love those old clocks.
Once again John, you outdid yourself. They look awesome.
I can't wait to make these. I just bought the trays off your link ❤

Love those chimes 💜 very calming.
Hi John - those pumpkin treats look amazing
Thanks
I, too, love to hear clocks chime and coo coo.🌻
Yum
Those look really good 🎃👻
I think they’d also be good dipped in those caramel flavored candy melts you used one time!

I love the clocks! Thanks for your video!
I think i like the second set of chimes best, reminds me of wind chimes
I love the clocks! Just block the whiners :)
I like to use heavy whipping cream instead of cool whip. Do you think this would work ok?
Why not? Should be ok

Do they have a malt ball texture?
Yes I think that is a good comparison
I love the clock sounds, but I have alot of coco clocks. 😅
I need to get one of those. An old one pre wwii
@JohnInBibs, that would be very lovely

No I don't have an affiliate link but they have great service and ship very fast.

I wish you luck, of course the baked mix will be a different texture then the way I did it.
